It's also not relevant, in my opinion. Play Geno and gain absolutely nothing in terms of a look at the future, or play Webb and learn something. They reduced the damn playbook for Geno (and reduced his reads in half) they could have designed something for Webb and gained some knowledge. Ben's playbook was a short story. I don't think Geno was given a chance to succeed. It looked like the plays were called to make him look bad. Obviously the Chargers saw it that way. What would Mcadoo possibly have to gain by choosing plays to make his chosen QB look bad? And why did he call for those fumbles? I think the Chargers saw exactly what the Giants saw: a potentially capable back up QB.

...and I'm sure that if I was instead saying how happy I am that the Giants drafted Barkley with the #2 overall you would have just as much problem with it. Why don't you just admit it? You don't like what I'm saying. It has nothing to do with how many times I may or may not say it. Don't kid yourself...it's the sheer volume of the exact same post that gets to me, and this from what I had assumed was a smart poster. I have a friend who bought a new Lamborghini recently, yet somehow, he seems to slip that into conversations less often than you slip in how we should have drafted a QB. I would ask you what the weather is where you are, but I am pretty sure the answer is, "we should have drafted a QB, and maybe it's raining".It's a total substitute for any discussion or insight on your part. I'm sorry Deli but doesn't an "agenda" always accompany a desired end? What is his agenda except that he believes we made a bad choice? It's his opinion and he thinks it's bad for our team moving forward. We can agree or disagree of course but it's just his opinion. How many times have posters brought up our bad O line and how horrible JR was at developing it? Is that an opinion or an agenda? I agree that each word has a different definition. But in this case, "agenda" is being used as an opinion some folks are tired of hearing. In other words they are using the word incorrectly. A true "agenda" is accompanied by actions with the desire for a specific end.

Fair enough...my point was really more about it being a way to avoid discussion rather than him having an agenda of some sort.
