yeah ok. - So all college will be for free b/c no college kid has money and the tax payer will pick up the bill. - Raising the min wage will actually prohibit job creation and we will lose jobs - Foreign policy - agree with modifications - Defend our shores . . . Syriana “corruption is why we win” - yup, we cannot defend the world. The money we gave to Ukraine would have almost pay for free colleges for one year. Shouldn't have a society where 440 Americans earn the same amount of earnings as the bottom 150 million Americans. Rich Americans not playing anywhere near a percentage of their income as they did in year's past. Rate keeps going down due to their influence on Congress. Little guy has no say. Our defense budget is more than the next 9 countries combined. We can no longer fight wars without risking nuclear annihilation. This war makes that obvious. Need to start rebuilding America here at home. Can't have people not making ends meet. Have to raise the minimum wage. Hasn't had adverse effect when that happens.

How did we go from aggressive defense to politics? Is Wink running for Senate?

This is why political types of all stripes are so boring.
They can't have any discussion without trying to steer it somewhere that most people don't want to go.
Most here, come here to get away from all that crap.
There is nothing of a political nature that we haven't already heard before too many times.
As for the Giants D, I think Wink can be at his disruptive best early in the season before offensive lines settle in and opponents have tape on our tendencies.

I think everyone is optimistic. There are only a couple posters out here who are doom and gloom. In the last poll, I recall most here see this as a 7-9 W team. Losing Blake Martinez shouldn't change that.
We're a 7-win team according to Vegas. I think most of us would be ok with that. Though my dream is that we snap our 5-year streak of double-digit losses with at least 8.
All depends on health.

He is now known as, multiple miggs. As long as he's not throwing little microscopic miggs at me, I can deal with his dissociative identity disorder. If we take the 12 win miggs, and the 2 win miggs...we get 14 wins, divided my the multiple miggs of two at the moment, and we come up with 7 wins. Miggs could be the famed Las Vegas odds maker, by using his dissociative identity disorder....and creating a perfect betting line to open with. 2 win miggs and 12 win miggs...I am now impressed. Not only have you both dealt with dissociative identity disorder, and been stuck in prison being manipulated by a cellmate who would enjoy eating your many brains, you are the leading odds maker all others follow.

I was actually more optimistic before training camp started then I am now. This season is going to be brutal. Wish I could fast forward about 2-3 years. I'm actually more optimistic. I was not optimistic at all going in, but at least the team looked like they were prepared for games. Operated like functional units. You know, things we have been missing for 5+ years around here...How many wins that will translate into, I have no clue, but I think it will be a much better look on the field than the discombobulated mess we've been seeing recently. Low, low water mark, I know!!

Low, low water mark, I know!! I think they will pass the "eye test" for improvement this year. OL is better, Jones a year older, with a better coaching situration, Barkley healthier, No Engram, less dropped balls, defense with some guys suited to deliver pressure. Hopefully it results in an 8 or 9 wins but honestly, all I need is visual evidence of improvement. I have always viewed this as a 2 or 3 year process.

My platform: Domestically, make colleges free for those who can't afford it. Cancel more student . Affordable health care for all. Raise minimum wage. Haven't done in a long time. Foreign policy: No economic sanctions on countries as it helps their economy and hurts ours big-time. Defend our shores but not fight overseas to enrich military contractors. Stop sending military aid to Ukraine in order weaken Russia as Ukrainian citizens are getting wiped out. US should back diplomacy instead. We are already spending 125% of what we make. Inflation is already at 40 year highs. $10k forgiveness is going to be another $500-$900 billion. To cancel all college debt and pay all college fees would be multi trillions. Where are you getting the money? Is it fair to expect 100 million workers that don't go to college to pay for doctors and lawyers loans? College fees are $60 billion a year. That is almost what we're giving to defense contractor to give to Ukraine. No controls of where arms winding up. Good amount of the arms being sold on black market. We need to tax the rich at higher rates and scale down defense expenditures.never any discussion in the press or the Congress of the later. Both neo-cons and neo-libs are against diplomacy. Also scary is that asked his advisers "why do we have nuclear arms if we don't use them?" And Biden reverses the US no first strike policy by saying he no longer believes in a no first strike policy. Don't want to tax lawyers and doctors. Just want tax more the super rich like Jeff Bezos who makes $8 million per hour, and see the US stop subsidizing rich oil companies. Dangerous times we're living in. Back to NY Giants football.

Low, low water mark, I know!! There’s definitely certain aspects I’m more optimistic about such as the future of the team and coaching but the current roster not so much. I know things can change but right now Toney hasn’t even played a snap, Golladay looks like a lower, injuries to Azeez, Thibs part of the already weak O line, Martinez gone, the secondary and Robinson look like shit. Not to mention, they’ve only played back ups for the most part. Dabs and Schoen can only due so much with the lack of money and lack of talent they have this year.

Low, low water mark, I know!! It's a better roster than what we’ve had the last 5 years. When was the last time we could throw out more than 5 relevant names on this team? It also seems to be better managed, which nobody said of the last couple of coaches. If they continue their preseason average of 25 points per games and play mediocre defense, they will not be a bottom-5 team.

Nothing wrong with being realistic even if it’s not all rainbows and unicorns. I can only go off what we see and it’s not much if I’m being honest with myself. If you’ve read any recent quotes from Daboll, Schoen and Neal…they should be considered “doom and gloom” as well.

The cap distribution suggests 4-7 wins.

Giants at Titans (-5.5, 44) Titans at home, only a 5.5 favorite. Miggs 1 says we're winning this game, extremely big win Miggs 2 says we're losing this game, extremely big loss Aris says, take the points and the Giants.

I play in a weekly pick em pool, and pretty much never pick against the Giants (the end of last season was an exception!!). Of course ours is the $5/week type, so its ok to bet with my heart. I try my best to never pick the Pokes as well, lol.

The Ravens have started out 5-1 in each of their last 2 seasons. I understand that the Giants are not the Ravens, but part of that has to be due to opposing teams facing pressure defenses at the beginning of the year. Maybe that trend continues this year and the Giants don’t get eliminated by Columbus Day. Maybe they split the first 6 games and have a fighting chance when the schedule lightens up. Putting some hope out there… Ravens also have a Franchise QB and we have Daniel Jones. lmao And please, save the 'hes a RB not a QB' bulls**t lol
