Big deal. He engaged in Capitalism and gave 20 individuals a job. He took advantage of some idiots who bought a card with a fictitious character on it. Who is the real moron? Not a scam... He provided a non-counterfeit item for a price that was agreed to by the buyer. "A fool and his money are easily parted."Dr. John Bridges 1587 Anyone who pays 672K for a 25-cent card is a moron's moron. How about someone who pays $0.50 for a Mickey Mantle rookie card and then forgets she had it in a shoebox in her mother's hallway closet. The mother then forgets that it is immensely valuable and throws it away during a spring cleaning? I won't tell you about the original issue mint condition wonder woman comic that mom (same mother) traded for candy and a movie ticket. I think she has forgiven her by now.. (maybe) My mom did that with my Willy Mays and Roberto Clemente rookie cards.

Actually, ripping off people, no matter how stupid you think they are, is a big deal and is certainly not capitalism Buying any card for an exuberant amount of money is being scammed. It does not matter if it is Sotheby's or trench coat Billy in the back ally conducting the rip-off. It is just how well the deception of scam is conducted, Only the credibility of who is conducting swindle is the conceive the legitimacy of the value of the item. That is the only difference. The concept is the same. A fool and his money are easily parted. It is capitalism "profiteering" Sell for more than the value to produce it. You should see some of these classic car auctions. Some of these cars go for what I would call stupid money (like 7 figures). Most of these are 60s Italian sports cars. They look pretty but are not well built. If you happen to own some of these you better have a classic Italian mechanic on the payroll ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/6149188/images/xJeALGJYlloJpFYUnsUs.png) Its not just poor doing these things. Rich folk gets stupid too
