Dude wants out and the Rams need to clear cap he will be traded Giants won't have room for him at 20 mill per think he will cost 17 mill this year.

Snagging a veteran CB in FA this off-season would be nice, but no “big name” FA’s please. Even if we could afford Ramsey I wouldn’t want him. The majority of this rebuild should be through the draft.

He's an excellent player, but never seems to be happy where he's at, and as you say, makes a huge pile of cash.

Agree with other posters here, especially Piddy283. I would rather find a young guy that will be here for a long time. Get a rookie in here, stagger some contracts and build from the ground up.

I would look for young as well. Our team chemistry is important. We just traded KT. Lets be careful who we bring in.

They have to a legit threat to get to and win the superbowl once the money starts flying on free agents outside of the building.

CB is the deepest position in the draft. And Ramsey is a punk, not the culture fit if we take the FA route.

That money would be better spent on a good veteran FA O lineman.

You don't trade for a guy that expensive unless they're the finishing piece to a SB team. Especially not when you're already paying Jackson as a "#1" CB.

He would be oil to our water.. A clear no doubter as to his ability as a corner, one of the best in the business. His contract is toxic though, and is up for renegotiations in ‘24 when his guaranteed money is all but dried up. If we’re going through the bloodline of the draft, Joey Porters kid out of Penn State is a player.

In regards to KT I have to figure personality played a role in our trading him for a 3rd round pick. Ramsey is a big personality. Sometimes that is good. Sometimes it is not. Regardless I think we should think younger and less expensive. Maybe look at WR and CB in the draft?

There are times when it makes sense to spend big on a FA, but for the GMen now is not that time.

Yup they aren't close enough and who knows they might be farther than closer depending on who they lose and what their draft looks like. They will need more contribution from the 2022 class as they get healthy and more from their new 2023 class. They didn't get enough from last years class some do to injury others because they just couldn't stay on the field because they were in affective Guys like Bellinger and Flott helped make this class have a better feel.

Remember how we caught Plax??
He was considered a “good receiver”, but he wasn’t past his prime or at the top of his position at the time.
Those are the best FA signings. Catching a guy who has upside and downside risk that lowers his market value.
Plax outplayed his contract big time, up until one point.
So those are my fav FA signings. Guys that have value but also aren’t so widely sought that their value get bid up so much that they can’t possibility produce enough to justify the deal.

nah...need cash for ILBs and LBs in general.
Not saying we don't need DB help too but the LB position is a priority.

I'm totally on board with you to look at WR and/or CB in the draft. Adoree is our top guy, Flott showed that he could make a run for the starting slot cb spot, since Holmes is most likely gone. The biggest unknown is what do we have in Aaron Robinson??? I was really expecting to see alot of him this past season, but appendicitis and a leg injury derailed that.
