 pro athletes rarely get what they deserve. They are either under or overpaid...Only superstar perennial all pros are even close to being worth it.... If Daniel gets 45mill, then Philly has to give Hurtz 50 million....No way Hurts is going to get less than DJ...If we overpay DJ, we screw a lot of teams....even Dak could decide to sit out Luckily Carr adjusted the market.....But Hurts and Lamar Jackson are going to want $50 mill....... Give DJ 40 mill and Philly is hosed....hehe |

Both of their agents are salivating at the mouth right now |

Yeah! Don't cave DJ! Get tagged and save the Giants a lot of poorly spent guaranteed money over the next few years!
If DJ doesn't take $100ish million in guaranteed money, it will likely be the biggest mistake he makes. When you continue to put up mediocre numbers, eventually people figure out you're mediocre.

The Giants are betting the QB value will skyrocket over the next few years because of Herbert and Burrow, but those two guys are great. Anyway it is what it is and now the Giants must figure out free agency and the draft. |

I think the Giants got their value early because they see the potential after 1 year of working with Jones. |
