Saw this post on Twitter of Tommy DeVito which says a lot about his confidence so I decided to watch some versus clips and this game against Michigan shows why we gave him a shot.

He is terrible. Couldn't even win the Syracuse starting QB job. I watched every game of his in Orange. He is a worse pro candidate than Eric Dungey. Not even close to Ryan Nassib.

He's a UDFA with hopes of making a practice squad. Not sure anyone was expecting him to be good. But with some NFL coaching, he may develop enough to be a viable back-up. The Giants decided they wanted to bring him in, so they see something worthwhile there. |

He honestly was not any good at Syracuse. For his sake, I hope that he improved. I saw his game against Michigan while he was the Illinois QB, and he wasn't any good. I love confidence in a player no doubt, but the play I've seen from him hasn't come close IMO.

Take a look, see what's there, camp body and maybe he's just hitting his stride. Understand that he arrives with no college pedigree and a dream.
