I’m going with either the 2008 team or the 89 squad.

It’s the ‘89 team and there is no debate.. A hit squad for a defense with an offense that punched you in the mouth. Second best record in the sport only trailing the reigning champs, 49ers. There was only two teams that had our number on speed dial. The Eagles who broke a broom off in us. And the Rams who sent us packing in our own home. The city of angels flew across the Country when they faced off with us in the divisional round. With 75k strong in the stadium, a sea of blue was seen throughout the meadowlands. We had nothing but revenge on our minds. Swift justice to those who gave us an L when we smoked enough fools in the season.
The defense did It’a job shutting down the battering Rams offense to a measly 13 points. Now with regulation ending, over time began. With a flip of the coin the Rams won the coin toss. No problem, take the ball keep it warm for us. As the Rams took the field the stadium erupted, the heavens were shaking, and the dead woken up. The defense sensed blood in the waters and went for the kill. With a last ditch effort, Jim Everett heaved a ball deep down to a well covered receiver. Instead of second and ten, the referee tossed his yellow flag.
Pass interference on Sheldon White. The phantom call gave new life to the Rams as it took the air from our lungs. Few plays later the game was sealed as Anderson ran out of the stadium with the game winning touchdown. The tickets were punched for us to face off with our cross country rivals the 49ers. Instead, we had to wait a whole year for us to add another ring to the finger.

Even though they were only 10-6 they could have had a better record. If you look at how close those losses were. The only team better than them that year was the Bears obviously. Simms was awful in that 89 divisional game. One of his few duds in a big game.

2008. Not even close IMO.
Beat the Steelers and Cards (the 2 SB teams) in their own houses that year before Plax Plaxed himself in the Plax.
I think we were what 11-1 before and 1-4 after?
