Incredible game. Brunson is playing terribly which is disappointing but they still have other guys coming up big.
No question though Brunson has to turn this around if they want to go anywhere this playoff run.
Amazing finish though. I thought for sure it was over. Maxey was unreal. And Embiid on one leg has such a great jumper. That guy is really good if he could only stay healthy. Now i see why Philly was the 2nd odds favorite to go to the finals behind Boston.
Knicks fortunate to be up 2-0.
Step up Brunson. Keep it up.

Haven't watched the Knicks in ages. I heard Clyde Frazier say that this team reminds him of the Knick teams he played with - tough D and team basketball on O. Gotta say they were very enjoyable to watch. What a great win tonight. For them to be up 2-0 when Brunson is 16-55 in those 2 games is wild.
I literally know nothing about them. I know of some of the names like Brunson, but I don't know about each of their games - yet.

One of the best wins I can remember as a Knicks fan. Unbelievable. Between this and the Canes game it’s been a crazy night in sports.

It’s been decades since the city that never sleeps has been this awake.. For years we were the doormats of the East. All the stars shined on other cities. As we were left in eternal darkness. Think John Mara is bad.. He couldn’t shine James Dolan’s penny loafers. Terrible draft picks.. forgotten head coaches.. Seasons ending at the opening tip off. One of the most recognized franchises on the hardwood, was that of a second class organization.
That all changed the day we stole Jalen Brunson away from Dallas. We haven’t had a true point since the greedy eighties with Mark Jackson. Or the days of disco with Clyde Frazier. And having Tom Thibodeau instill hard nosed basketball with suffocating defense. Has made the garden back to a place of fear and despair.

He leaves Hockey to Drury and is hands off and he finally hired an exec in Leon Rose that he stepped back and left alone. It’s not just Brunson, these decisions are gold. Stop and consider that we traded for OG, but lost as a side note was giving McBride another 3 years and 13 million. In today’s NBA landscape that is absurd. If I know one thing it’s that Rose is the most astute basketball mind in this organization since Pat Riley blew town.

Owners always fancy themselves as experts since it’s the only thing they can’t buy. While Dolan hired and fired at will.. The losing continued as the only glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel was a freight train. Rose who has his pulse to the streets.. and is well respected around the league. Didn’t need this job, the Knicks needed him. And when power is tipped to your favor, it’s best to just sign the checks and get the hell out of the way.

Where would we be without him once Randall went down? He's way outperformed expectations...

2 flagrant fouls in the first quarter and they still out attempted us by 12 free throws. That game went exactly as I thought it would. Also that play by Embiid was extremely dirty.

imagine if it were the other way and a Knick committed that foul!!! An extremely dirty and dangerous play with Robinson in the air, 2 intentional shots to the nuts and a hip check. In game 4 the first time a ball is on the floor is dive right into that balky knee. What’s right is right.

Joel Embiid is a piece of shit. That is all. I hope he blows his knee out next game. What a scumbag. Chicken winged Brunson. Purposefully stomps on.... Hart I think. Throws his body weight on Brunson again late. Amazing player but complete peice of shit. What a ****ing game though huh? Knicks... Brunson is nasty.

Every game we were better down the stretch. Tonight we made error after error down the stretch. We got what we deserved. And there is a good chance they will now lose the series.

Still can’t believe that loss. Mitchell inexplicably fouling, allowing them to shoot a 3 and not fouling, missed free throws. It felt very Pacers-esque.

And to rub salt in the wound:
In the Last Two-Minute Report from Game 5, the NBA said that Maxey's four-point play with 25 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter should have been waved off due to a traveling violation.
"Maxey gathers the ball on his left foot, takes two legal steps, and then moves his right foot again just before he is fouled on his shot," the report stated.

If you are the Knicks and you say something to the league you ask them to enforce traveling on Maxey all the time. He travels more than Greyhound.

I never watch basketball, but I am watching tonight.
Knicks were up by 22 at one point and go into the half down by 3. I hate all the philthy teams. They need to come out and dominate.
They choked in the 2nd for sure.

I don’t think they choked. Knicks went up and the refs just swallowed their whistles. Which has happened all series.
