The rules have been changed and cuts can now wait until the season starts! I know the Turk is upset having to wait with his axe! But after Fridays night game, I think we can get an early start! My choice to go ASAP first is KOREY CUNNINGHAM! The guy was clueless and he deserves the axe.  Any other names? |

I think with the new rules they don't have to make cuts till 96 hrs after the last pre season game. I'm not sure if they had this last year or not.
They need these bodies to play the last game. And remember the new rule we must carry 3 QB's on the 53 man squad. It's because of what happened in S.F. last year when they lost Jimmy G., Trey Lance, Purdy, and I don't even know who finished the season for them.

8/29 is cutdown day for the 53 roster. Only one cut down day this season...instead of after every preseason game.
This insures that you have camp bodies to be canon fodder in preseason games.

This is logical and makes much more sense given that the league is moving farther and farther away from starting first team players in the preseason. Let the camp bodies battle it out until the last day. |

But many Deseve to be cut because they just can't play at the NFL level. Some will be cut because of the roster cap and catch on with another team. Some will be cut because they are at the end of their career to save money. Others will be cut because of the hard money cap! it's a business more than ever today with FA!! |
