I definitely think we’re getting closer and our future is bright, I just think we’re still at least 2 years away from making a deep run. On paper, Philthy and dallas are still quite a bit better. It doesn’t mean we can’t beat them on any given day, I just don’t think we can do it consistently yet which is what needs to happen to be a true contender.

Bredeson and Glowinski played a handful of snaps mostly just to keep the backup QB alive. Neither one of them were good. bredeson played center he was pretty solid from what I saw being the combo is not the regular. Going off of last year Bredeson when healthy is the best guard we have and is slightly above average by NFL standards.

I'm with you no matter what happens game 1 I see the Giants as a young up and coming team 2 years ago they had 0 chance now they can beat anyone on any given Sunday given they are healthy.

The lynch pin the center is a rookie so there is gonna be some growing pains. I agree. It may be ugly. I think he has performed well in preseason but it is a different animal in a couple weeks Dallas will try to make his head spin with games and blitzes and he will not get a break so it will be interesting to see how he comes through it and how long it takes.

In 3 preseason games he's only given up 1 hurry. I don't expect perfection when the season starts, but he's clearly way ahead of the rookie curve.

I will just keep posting that... You know how beating those mf’ers is almost like winning the SB for me. I’m trying not to get my hopes up but I’ve already taken Sept 10th off for work, have my menu planned out for the entire day along with copious amounts of alcohol. Not only will I have enough food and beverage for Sun but Monday as well. I shit you not, when the cryboys lose, especially a big game, I set my alarm for 5:30 and wake up just to listen to local sports radio and laugh at the over reaction from the fans. It’s one of my few great pleasures in life. The biggest challenge for me will be staying sober enough by the time the game starts to where I remember most of it. I’ll probably still have a good buzz from the night before and have been known to keep the celebration going until I pass out. Sad but true. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to celebrate the Giants beating them in what, 5-6 years? I don’t count the lone win when they rested their starters as a meaningful victory. I would love nothing more for them to get a good ole fashioned NY boot up their entitled asses by getting beat by the Giants in NY week 1, followed by the Jets beating their asses at home in week 2. Starting off 0-2 would send their fans into chaos, a lot of them have already declared the season a bust if they don’t at least make the NFCCG.

As far as game 1 goes, I think Hankins will get the start against JMS but the good news is that their first round pick, Mazi Smith, who they were all high on due to his strength hasn’t been quite as good as they thought he would be…yet. I think Smith and JMS will be rivals for years to come and I’m hoping/think JMS has the advantage for now due to his technique.

Hang with my bud, smoke a little and do a couple of drinks maybe. Think I have softball that morning too. Cant wait for the game. I am delusionaly envisioning the Giants O as a well oiled machine!! I see the Boys tripping and stumbling all night!! Who knows maybe I am tripping!! Lol

Didn't see any of the game just read the notes on this board and twitter. Sounds like Sauce got the usual no call hold, but that was the same as all last year. When you're chosen as the next revis you're allowed to hold for your career it seems. On a better note, sounds like Simmons looked good rushing the passer. We desperately need that. Hope we can steal some lineman from other teams cuts. If Lemieux looked the best then we're in serious trouble. He got burned by Hyatt on very first play down sidelines and was grabbing him the whole way. Tyrod underthrew the pass If Jones is playing that's a 85 yard TD pass Jets #1 D gives up Simmons missed blowing him up by a hair by hit him enough to make him stumble and start to fall and throw the ball away. He was on him in a second exactly what I saw too

Moderation doesn’t exist in my vocabulary. I guess the good news is I don’t drink “that” often so most of the time I’m eating extremely healthy and spending 2-3 hours a day lifting and doing some cardio. Once I can smoke tweed again I’m sure my drinking will slow down even more, unfortunately that won’t happen for another 10 years at least when I retire, probably more. Ironic, I have a couple briskets I thought about smoking that day but being it’s the first day of football and will probably still be in the 100’s down here, I’ll probably pass. I know it’s hard to believe but I do get more excited optimistic the closer we get but then reality usually hits. If anything, this better be a closer game than usual, and I’m not talking about garbage time points that make the game look deceiving (like the 2nd game against them last year).

Thats something I did sporadically. Not much tho. Either way that Sunday night is approaching and we can and shoukd be excited and confident. In varyomg degtees!!

I hope he eats up those games and Blitz like a vet but he is gonna see next level Athletes doing next level things. I will love if his transition is easy. But the regular season game plans are much more focused on attacking individual players. You can almost guarantee your ill see Parson involved in some A gap trickery and also over Neal .

Sound like me in my younger days hard partyin on game days especially when I lived up there and went to every game. Back in mid 2000 through 2011 we beat them in every game that mattered closing the old stadium opening their new one shocked them and the fans in the 07 playoffs and beating there asses last game to take the division in 2011. To add to a pleasurable time period every time we sent them packing we got a trophy F%$# them cowterds the ass whooping days are coming.
