Tennessee Titans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins said he had a list of teams he wanted to play for after the Arizona Cardinals released him earlier this summer. But before he signed with the Titans, Hopkins said some of those teams "didn't give a call back" when he first reached out. While he didn't go into details as to which teams didn't return his calls, Hopkins named which teams certainly didn't want to sign him this offseason. “Detroit Lions, they didn’t want me,” Hopkins told GQ. “Dallas Cowboys didn’t want me. "Didn't want me"...... in this case means that they weren't willing to spend 8 figures on him.

"Didn't want me"...... in this case means that they weren't willing to spend 8 figures on him. well they didn't even entertain his phone call unless they assumed he would only talk if they were open to a huge contract |

Given the Giants available cap room and his salary demands, what was he expecting the Giants to do? Big talker for someone who won't play those teams this year. These comments sound like someone who is regretting their decision to sign with the Titans.
