Nothing I dislike more than one of our players practicing for their career after football while they are still here on our dime. The guy sucked on his first stint and now wants to be a game show host in his second stint. We should spend all the time he's with reporters in the film roon getting up to speed for Washington.

Pugh needs to focus on football and trying to be a mediocre NFL player and not worry about cute comments to the production staff pre game about "Justin Pugh, right off the couch" We need guys who can play the freaking game, not guys with cute quips. And most of all we don't need Eagles lovers in our locker room, especially marginal players. over reacting, just a little bit? lol. |

Pugh does like to talk a lot. Thinking there is a significant chance he ends up in the booth as color commentator speaking to us about, like Seinfeld, nothing.

And most of all we don't need Eagles lovers in our locker room, especially marginal players. C'mon Jomo. It's possible that a guy making a cute quip can also help this team. I don't think the quip had a damned thing to do with his subsequent performance. He did literally come off the couch to see if he could help. He was certainly no worse than Ezeudu and is surely better than Phillips. Bottom line it's up to the coaches and if they think he can do a better job than their alternatives then I say Thank You Mr. Pugh, and i'm not going to criticize him for the quip... which happened to be true. He did his best out there and that's what he'll continue to do... and if he grew up in the Philly area and was an Eagles fan... so what. It happens to virtually every player drafted by a team that wasn't their fav when growing up. They still give their best for their new team. Just saw this Zim, lol, I'm a little slow on the uptake. I was and remain cranky about the whole OL thing. I think he could have read the bible on a podcast and I would have said "he needs to focus on football." I never liked that pick of Pugh, I can't get that game against Philly out of my head and I don't like players auditioning for their career after football while they are playing here. It is a curse I carry around with me all day.....until this OL is fixed and we return to the SB. |
