No one, in Giants land, should ever dislike Justin Pugh ever again.... This will be a thread about nothing. Enjoy Giants' Justin Pugh credits Jerry Seinfeld for return to team: 'The most quintessential New York moment'"Honestly this is all Jerry Seinfeld's fault," Pugh said with a smile, via SNY. "I was at a restaurant like four months ago over the summer and my wife and I were sitting there with some friends and across from us was Jerry Seinfeld. And I hear his voice and it was the most quintessential New York moment of all time. "I texted my agent. 'Text the Giants. I wanna come back.' So really if it wasn't for Jerry Seinfeld I don't know if I would be here right now. He's the greatest. He's the GOAT."

I liked when he said he was watching his favorite football team last Sunday the giants and was playing for them the following Sunday.
Pugh sounds like he is a fan that has a chance to do something about his favorite teams issues right now I kind of like that.

I don't know for sure if Giants are his favorite team, but who knows. Just PR talk as far as I'm concerned

I’m glad we resigned him.

Pugh needs to focus on football and trying to be a mediocre NFL player and not worry about cute comments to the production staff pre game about "Justin Pugh, right off the couch"
We need guys who can play the freaking game, not guys with cute quips.
And most of all we don't need Eagles lovers in our locker room, especially marginal players.

Him cracking a joke here and there is a non issue Jomo. His comments just show how ridiculous this season is for the NYGs.

He would always post a little something when some lineman signed a new contract. Hey, did anyone see that deal that Nate Solder got?

I don't think the quip had a damned thing to do with his subsequent performance. He did literally come off the couch to see if he could help. He was certainly no worse than Ezeudu and is surely better than Phillips. Bottom line it's up to the coaches and if they think he can do a better job than their alternatives then I say Thank You Mr. Pugh, and i'm not going to criticize him for the quip... which happened to be true. He did his best out there and that's what he'll continue to do... and if he grew up in the Philly area and was an Eagles fan... so what. It happens to virtually every player drafted by a team that wasn't their fav when growing up. They still give their best for their new team.

The Giants should launch an investigation to find out if Banks was a Redskins fan growing up. If so, cut his ass tomorrow.

It must be shocking for people to find out that the majority of NFL players are not playing on the teams they grew up rooting for. Only Justin Pugh is secretly still a fan of that team though, no one else.

This quickly turned into one of my favorite threads on the internet. There seems to be a Seinfeld gif for every situation. As wacky as that show could get, the various characters and situations always somehow remind one of real life experiences.

Put into words what it means to you now, and then, to be a New York Giant.
A: Everything. That’s it, it’s one word. Everything. There’s no place like New York City, it’s the greatest city in the world, the greatest fans in the world. It will forever be in my heart, and that’s the reason I came back. It’s everything.
This guy is such a secret Eagles fan! What is he even doing here!?!
