He renegotiated with stern. He has to wear a bikini and a sign saying he's a douche while walking around Manhattan.

And he's not the first broadcaster to bet on quitting and not honor the bet.
Carlton did the same thing in 2007, said he would quit if the Giants beat the Patriots. He regotinated too.
Funny how they are both famous for being blabbermouths, who don't honor the bets their mouths make.

Calm down for God's sake. "Honor the bet"? ....... Now that's funny.

Funhouse tweeted about this last week so of course I was rooting heavily for the Dbacks.
Chris has been retired as far as I'm concerned. I haven't listened to him since left FAN.
I thought together Mike and the Mad Dog worked. Not so when they split.

I only watched game 7 because his comments peaked my interest. But it was a good game.
He was a fun guy to listen to with his mix of passion, levity along with a good memory.
You know come to think of it he reminds me a bit of someone I know.

I obviously understand both are making 6 or 7 figures, and neither is going to really quit. But it's just an old school annoyance that nobody has to live up to what they say or do, and few are held accountable.

Chris ran his mouth and then wussed out like everyone knew he would, which only proves it's all nonsense anyway.

What would he have gotten from this fictional person if he won? A "bet" is only a bet when two sides have something to gain or lose.

We're lucky we have you here to explain life to everyone. I think you know bets like this happen all the time. Usually it's having to do something embarrassing or wear the other team's jersey. The loser gets embarrassed and the winner gets to see it. When celebrities do it it's entertainment, but betting something you have no intention to do is lame and hacky. It would be like a someone saying they bet their house on a game. Just MO.
