PETE CARROLL OUT!

wow, that is surprising, every year there are 1 or 2 completely unexpected ones, this one was completely off the radar though. That's 7 total openings with Bellichick still on the block, and imo 3 playoff coaches Sirianni, McCarthy and Bowles as possibilities. Any one of them means 25% of the team's are looking for a HC

this is really a shocker, the guy can still coach, and connect with players.

It’s a young man’s game.. He’s a fossil who Seattle decided to bury. The old guard is slowly becoming extinct.

really not surprised about the Bill B news, most could see that coming from a mile away. It will be interesting to see where he ends up, as he does want to still coach, and I'm sure there will be plenty of interest from the other clubs that dropped their head coaches.

I just can't possibly imagine his ego allowing it. all joking aside, he'll get one of the open HC positions if he really wants to still coach. I fully expect him to be somewhere next season. How about Philthy after they tank on Monday night, and Siriani gets axed?

I fully expect him to be somewhere next season. How about Philthy after they tank on Monday night, and Siriani gets axed? He only works in a place that has an elite QB already. Of the openings only Chargers clearly fit that requirement. Maybe DC works too if they get Maye and keep Bienemi to groom him and oversee the offense. His availability might trigger Eagles to move on from Sirianni if they get shellacked on Monday by Bucs. All others I would expect end up looking like his last few years in NE.

Yeah and neither are we, and we made them look like a team that should be drafting #1 overall!

BB likes to be in charge of personnel, Howie Roseman wouldnt (and shouldnt) give up that responsibility.

Jarod Mayo is your new New England Patriots HC.
Good choice for them, but not the best. Mike Vrabel was there for the taking.
The coaching tree under Bill Belichick has been epically bad. Lets see how this one works out.

Watch him keep those other belichick's not named Bill on the staff Apparently it was in Mayo's contract that he would replace Belichick once Bill was gone. Wow. Interesting. The other thing to think about here is, firing BB wasnt just firing their HC, it was firing their GM. So, now they have a HC but no GM yet. Weird. Normally its the other way around. The GM helps hire the HC.

After today McCarthy is only a matter of how soon. Would an Eagles loss tomorrow put Sirianni on deck? Those knuckleheads would bring the coaching changes to a staggering total of 10!
