Thankfully they are not moving on from that bum. I hope they extend Dak too. Couple of posers. Agreed.. I mean they just swept us for the third straight season. Outscored us a million to nothing.. And laughed at us while we fought for their sloppy seconds. We showed them though.. we got to watch them implode in the playoffs from the nosebleeds.

Thankfully they are not moving on from that bum. I hope they extend Dak too. Couple of posers. I think they did the right thing. They've won 36 games in the past 3 years. How many have the Giants won in that same time frame? If we had won 36 games in the past 3 years, we would be talking up that coach like he was Bill Parcells incarnate. Lol

Our only football joy these days come when our rivals lose. I'm glad that the Eagles and Cowboys lost, but thinking about our own dumpster fire brings me back down to earth.

Lol But their regular season performance on the road and in the playoffs is mediocre, and their post season performance is woefully bad. Last week's game against Packers was probably the most poorly prepared team on both sides of the ball I recall seeing from a home field favorite. That has to be on the coach.

So you want them to move onto someone who can actually utilize and benefit from having a dynamic mix of great players on their roster? No thanks. Its like the Yankees current situation. Making the playoffs simply isnt good enough. McCarthy is not a good HC. Yeah, they beat the doors off of us, but thats because we are much worse at picking the right guys to turn the ship around. If they stay with McCarthy....

Bill Belichick getting a 2nd interview with ATL this weekend.
Weird. Falcons dont seem like a team too close to a championship. Maybe they are a QB away

See, its not about THEM beating us with a broomstick, its about US being such a terrible team. Its us that needs to get better to beat them, not them getting worse so we can beat them. McCarthy isnt a good HC IMO. We just need to get better to capitalize on that.

Yet, no one dares bash Don Shula for not winning a ring with Marino. We didn’t compete with them for a single quarter this year.. To be that outclassed by a division rival is pathetic.

I agree, but stop comparing us to them. They are way better. Ive said that already. There is a reason why they got their asses kicked by GB in Dallas in the playoffs. They are frauds. They beat 2 teams with a winning record this year. They beat the Eagles who as we now see were in complete tailspin. A shell of a team. And they beat the Lions in Dallas... It was competitive, but it was a game that was decided on that terrible OL eligible call in the end. Detroit had them. Other than that, they feasted on crap, like us. So, while it sucks they will continue to beat us in 2024 most likely because we will parade out DJ out of financial duties, and still have a floundering OL, they will get punched in the mouth again when it matters most. I dont want Harbaugh or Belichick near that team. Even Vrabel would suck. All much more competent HCs than MM.

I like asking this question and kind of fits with this discussion.
In the next decade:
Would you rather the Giants continue being a 4-7 win team each year, but in one of the years make a magical run to win the SB?
OR
Would you rather the Giants be competitive all decade winning 10-13 games a year, getting to the SB once, but never win it?

Antonio Pierce named new HC in Las Vegas for the Raiders. Good move by them IMO Congrats to AP, he made his career by his understanding of the game, as he was pretty limited athletically. Showed that he can absolutely lead a team in his stint as an interim coach this year. Really happy for him, and shocked that Mark Davis made the smart/right choice... www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/39344707/raiders-working-finalize-deal-antonio-pierce

Today Fri. 1/19 the Raiders hired Antonio Pierce. Congratulations for Antonio I always liked him as a player and coach. I was hoping they interviewed him as our DC.
His players loved him both offense and defense. Give him a QB and he will improve that team 200% from that waste Josh McDaniel.
I'm very happy Las Vegas hired him as their HC.

Lol rivera is probably ok as DC, the problem is he's just one step away from becoming their HC.
