Man that is still a tough defeat to this day. Favre missed a wide open WR on the opposite side of the field. If he throws in that direction we could have won. We would have gotten smoked in the Super Bowl though. We couldn’t stop Plaxico that night and didn’t Amani Toomer also have a big game. Eli Looked like a Hall of Famer and Jacobs was running over our DBs. I think you guys were the much better team. We were 13-3 but we were more of a 10-6 squad. You guys were 10-6 but I think you guys had one of the best Defensive Lines in recent history. Strahan, Tuck, Osi and your secondary was tough with Webster back there. Anyway losing in Lambeau for the Halas trophy still stings. It was a great game though if you weren’t a fan of either team. I don’t hate the Giants for beating us that day though. Is this game your favorite win Giant fans?

I'll always like stopping a Dallas post season run more than anything outside the big game

I’ll never forget watching a Cowboys Giants game on New Years Day. Pat Summeral and Madden we’re doing the game. It was in the 90s and I think the Giants won. Thrax you mentioned about stopping a Cowboys run in the postseason so that made me think of that. It could have been a playoff game.

If NYG is out I don't tend to mind seeing the Pack win, but screw my dallas fan family with a malformed cheesehead. I don't have games from a season we didn't get a ring, outside of opening jerryworld handing them a loss. I wish we could AI a perfect Madden commentator.

Winning in Dallas' first game in their new stadium is one of my favorite wins but nothing will ever beat the Super Bowl against the undefeated Pats. The game against the Packers though will always be up there. Was living in Colorado with my fiance (now wife) and she was pregnant with our first kid. She is a huge Giants fan too. Towards the end of the game she was feeling stomach pains (weren't we all lol). They are lining up for the field goal at the end of regulation and we are standing there with out coats on and car keys in hand ready to go to the ER once they make the kick. They miss! We just looked at each other, she takes off her coat and sits back down on the couch ready for OT lmao. As soon as we one we went to the ER, everything ended up being fine and that kid is now a huge Giants fan as well. The play I remember most from that game was the one armed tackle by Antonio Pierce on 3rd and 8 at the end of the half to hold the Packers to a field goal. Amazing play that stopped a TD.

We were on a mission that year.. From getting our doors blown off to start the season by the very teams we were going to see in the playoffs. We fought tooth and nail to punch our ticket to the postseason. It was a forgone conclusion by the mouth breathers of the league that we were wasting our time. A team who had Peyton’s younger brother at the helm. A spoiled kid who talked his way out of San Diego. And was living off the last name as so many Kennedys have done before. Was a disastrous 0-2 in the playoffs. The echo heard round the world was as long as opie was the quarterback. They will never win a chip with him. Challenge accepted..
As we just gave the Patriots a fight to remember.. We set our sails to Tampa where the weather is warm.. and the drinks are cold. Perfect place to kick your feet up, and enjoy the sun. No time for sightseeing, we had a bunch of buccaneers that needed to be tossed overboard. As we rampaged their ship, and spared the women and children. We let off cannon blasts to let everyone know we were coming. Eli was damn near perfect, as Jacobs scored twice as we laid waste to the once pirates of the league. As we drank from their severed heads.. We headed to Dallas to meet up with an old rival. The Cowboys who ran roughshod on the division and put holes in thirteen teams that season. They laughed when they saw us coming over the horizon. Just another speed bump to what was a runaway train for them that year.
Jerry Jones had Super Bowl aspirations as he bought tickets in advance. And their quarterback was in Cabo on their week off. Confidence was high in Dallas.. What they didn’t expect was a Giants team that was battle tested and ready for war. Another stellar performance from Eli, as the better quarterback that day was in blue. Toomer put up six twice, as Dallas lost in the closing seconds as McQuarters iced the game with an interception in the end zone. Jerry’s place was shut down.. as we left them tickets to the revenge tour. Now with two teams down for the count, it was Green Bay who we had in our sights. Titletown.. the green and gold standards of the league. No one had more championships, and legends on the same franchise. We weren’t impressed. The weather was a bone chilling -23 degrees that day. No big deal.. we have ice in our veins. And a furnace of intensity in our hearts. This was supposed to be the Packers year. Juggernaut of an offense, with a living legend going off the sunset on his white horse.
We were only there to be witnesses of the great event. No one told them that we weren’t leaving without a victory. As Jacobs and Bradshaw grounded and pounded the Packers to death. Plaxico went twelve rounds with Al Harris and delivered crushing blow after body shots to the once physical corner. With Antonio Pierce game saving tackle, and a defense that was relentless. We should have iced the game long before the final whistle. With Tynes missing not one.. but two critical kicks. The game went into overtime where legends are made of. Brett Favre who was the author to many teams misery. Threw a pass that Corey Webster jumped and got the interception of his lifetime. Now, it was time to end this game and send the Packers home empty handed. With the fans screaming at the top of their frozen lungs. Tynes had to kick a rock 47 yards to win the game. We all stood still in our homes. Our hearts beating out of our chest. We were either going to Arizona to play in the Super Bowl. Or we were going to kill Tynes. The ball is snapped, the hold was perfect. The kick goes up.. as it’s soaring we try to manipulate the ball to go through the uprights. What was mere seconds, felt like a lifetime. It goes through.. the game is over. We not only ended their season in their backyard. We sent Brett Favre to the worst place of all.. The Jets.

I can't believe how miserable Buck sounds in the Giants-Cowboys game. What a prick.
