www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/39104125/nfl-set-decide-2024-brazil-game-wednesday-source-saysSo NFL will now add a game in Sao Paulo as well as London and Germany next year. They'll be back in Mexico City once that stadium is refurbished, and they are now talking about doubling the # of international games. Personally, I think they are way overdoing it, seems like they want every team to play overseas at least once annually. I get trying to grow the game, but at some point it gets ridiculous, and I think they have arrived.

This takes away a ton of money to employees of the NFL and cities in the country. Shame. I get they are trying to globalize the game though like soccer or basketball. My guess is they keep doing it more and more until there is a disaster. And add an 18th game too.

I don't mind it but has to be tough on the players like Thursday night games. I hope the NFL takes into consideration the amount of injuries in the sport and recovery time between games.

Nationalism = identification with one's own nation and support for its interests, especially to the exclusion or detriment of the interests of other nations. Seems contradictory, now.

Eh, I wouldn't go that far. They only see profits, that's why at times it seems political. This is a move for globalization and to milk the teet. It will make the product worse though. How many shit games do we have to watch overseas in London where the teams look like they are sleepwalking? And how many people arent watching them because they start at 930am on the East Coast and 630 am on the West Coast? And FYI, America is losing its identity if it hasn't already. Thats for the other thread though.

Lets make it NFL - Latin America, NFL- Europe (part II) NFL - Asia, NFL - Africa, NFL - Oceana lemme know if I forgot a place..They can have thier own leagues and could be a pipeline of sorts to the NFL and a second chance league for the castoffs... On the other side of the coin, I wouldn't but any season tickets cuz I know as a fans I'll be getting gypped
