Penix is showing the part of his game that does not translate to the NFL he is gonna be in the pocket the pressure is affecting him in the NFL it will be more complex and the pressure will be faster everything will be faster. Think him facing a good college D in Michigan is helping answer some questions about how he will look with pressure on him I was hoping for better because we need a QB. I'm falling off his season bandwagon the closer I look at the flaws and as you say his translation to the pro game.... lack of pocket command and no ability to be accurate making throws when going off platform. Imagine him behind this OL? With being Mr. Glass as well? It would be ugly, and ugly real quick. Neal would kill him on the blind side alone. Washington defense did finally play the gap better and stopped the run...the game was his at many moments, and he just threw some awful balls.

I agree 100% thought this would be a good litmus test and it was thats one I would have to pass on, not an NFL QB to me even with decent OL play he would have issues pressure is fast in todays game there isn't many 3 second pockets

Penix was supposed to be the 4th QB but now does this make the Giants evaluate JJ ahead of him? As the 6th pick is too high for JJ do we go after Penix or Nix in R2? I think with the huge contract that DJ has I could very well see them not trade up for a QB this year and wait it out one more year if they are not convinced of the talent in the QBs available. Who are the guys in 2025 we should be looking at? Oh gosh, it's the same old game year after year.
After coming off the ledge, I'd drafting Nabers. I think he's better than Odunze. We'll reevaluate after the combine.

I see him as a worthy developmental guy. He needs to put on about 30 lbs of muscle however.

I read somewhere in here he was staying....but can't confirm it anywhere He's got size, legs, arm talent ....but raw. Still, his game is more pro suited vs Penix IMHO.
