Still....got to go on a work day and later?? Got to be some people real unhappy about this. Not to mention possibly needing another night in a hotel and changing flights. Just a mess. Glad it ain't me but I feel bad for those folks.

Glad it ain't me but I feel bad for those folks. what else can you do? Nothing I guess. Still sucks. And sadly the snow might not be that bad. They're wrong more often than not here in Syracuse. And most of it is supposed to hit tonight.

The fact we already had a Monday game scheduled and the fact there’s another game only available on a single streaming platform is crazy to me. I get having to move the Bills game if the weather really is that bad, but I’d still be upset if I purchased a ticket.
Just curious, if I already have Peacock but don’t watch the Dolphins game does that still give the NFL/NBC a positive rating?

BIG topic in these parts. My first thought was wow, has the NFL and its fans gotten soft. The truth is many Steeler fans who have tickets wouldnt travel until this afternoon or tmw morning anyway. Many Bills fans felt it neutralized their homefield advantage primarily because of possible 50 mph winds and blizzard conditions taking away their passing game. Anyway, I guess Hochul, Erie County, and the NFL felt they could get away with this as Monday is MLK day and many have off. Wind is supposed to drop to 20 mph, and worst of the snow over on Monday. Still supposed to be a high of 20 with those winds it will still be damn frigid. I think what led to this decision was the loss of life that occurred during a similar blizzard at Christmas last year with people trapped in their vehicles.

So they’ll postpone for significant snow storms, understandably, but not -30 degree temps.
Makes sense.

And Buffalo still wants a new stadium without a roof!

And Buffalo still wants a new stadium without a roof! yeah, b/c a dome would prevent the highways and roads from snow accumulation

Traveling to that game is problematic, so I get why they moved it to Monday. Lake Effect snow is no joke. I'm so glad that I don't live in Syracuse anymore.

They should have an underground stadium. In fact they should have and underground complex, an underground city. Build that whole sucker underground have the roof open in the summer.

Makes sense. the snow really makes the travel unsafe The snow, the people who can;t drive in the snow, the people who think they know how to drive in the snow (cuz they got a bitchin' 4-wheelin' pickup and its great in the snow) the people who are too afraid to drive in the snow (yet they do) the people who are road ragers who take out their life's frustration on YOU and are pissed that you have the temerity to actually obey traffic laws (conversely the people who are pissed because they don't know the meaning of 'temerity' and can't use it in a sentence) the people who drink and drive in the snow, the people who talk on thier cell phone while driving in the snow... Thats why I watch the game on TV (no snow)

it has zero to do with being "soft:
Anyone who thinks that is ignorant.
The severer weather up there is real thing. There is zero reason the NFL would want to postpone this game otherwise

There is zero reason the NFL would want to postpone this game otherwise NY and Erie County officials have been known to jump the gun and over govern but they absolutely made the right call. They got 40 inches of snow at the stadium, we only got 4 inches up here an hour North. They hired anyone interested to come to the stadium and shovel since yesterday 'round the clock. Still, many seats were still full of snow. The stadium was full of fans today which was quite a success.
