Giants have been doing their homework on Maye. I don't think they'll be in position to draft him but if he falls to 6 I wouldn't be surprised if he got selected. Article: The Eli Manning advice Drake Maye is heeding before 2024 NFL Draft“Big fan,” Maye said. “I think Eli would say he’s probably seen me too much. I’ve been following him around. It’s always on Zooms. I think the biggest thing is being a sponge and soaking it all in. I don’t have all the answers. I don’t know it all, being up there with Eli...Eli [told me] just be myself.” Maye also said he was a "big fan" of Daboll and "one of the greatest offensive minds...and he got to know Mr. Schoen" "Maye is training for the draft with David Morris – Manning’s friend, trainer of Daniel Jones, and former backup quarterback at Ole Miss – so it made for a natural connection."

If he falls to 6 we’re running to the podium.
As much as I hate to admit it, Maye has grown on me. He’s not flashy, but he has all the tools and I feel like he comes with the least amount of risk.
With Williams, I have real concerns with his personality and whether or not he’d be able to handle NY.
With Daniels, I have real concerns with his style of play and whether or not he can take a hit in the NFL.
With Maye, my only concern is whether or not he can fine tune some mechanics. He’s pretty clean beyond that.

Something about Williams personality that worries me. It's just there I can't help it. I guess it doesn't concern any of the teams. Daniels just looks so thin but I like him a lot. Now I know he had the 2nd and 4th top rated WR's in the draft to throw to all year. But people said that about Burrow at LSU with Jefferson and Chase. It is a 2 way team QB's and WR's. McCarthy is moving up in the draft like a runaway locomotive. He just hasn't impressed me at Michigan he handed the ball off. But I think he goes top 10 in the draft. Bo Nix is gonna move up after the combine. Wait till everyone sees him throw. People don't like him for one reason or another but he looked damn good to me. IMO he's also a 1st rd pick. All 5 of these QB's go 1st rd imo and the only reason Pennix doesn't is because of his injuries. The Giants would have to trade up for top 3 but could come back up into the 1st rd for the other 2 I think if their still there.

Daniels has flaws as a QB but his speed gives him the potential to take the league by storm. The easy comp is Lamar Jackson but their games are very similar in that regard. They both have strong arms and their speed is completely crippling. The biggest difference is Jackson tends to avoid hits while Daniels seems to invite the contact. If you could guarantee his health, I'd argue Daniels' speed puts him in the QB1 conversation and would make him the best offensive weapon we've seen come out of college in years.
Nix has been the most surprising prospect for me. Going into the off-season, I did not expect to be a fan based on everything I heard. I couldn't have been more wrong. He impressed me the first time I watched him, and the more I watch the more impressed I become. All things considered, I think he's one of the best fits for Dabs' offense.
All in all we seem to be in agreement. I think there are at least 5 starting QBs in this draft. Some have elite traits and the potential to be true game changers, but all should go in Rd1.
