Falcons are idiots. They could have gotten Fields from Chicago who are anxious deal. Fields has is still very young and has a lot of upside. Instead they get an aging, often injured, and really just not that good Cousins and pay him a fortune over 4 years. It's like they're still stuck in finding a Matt Ryan clone.

I should have said for a guy who is coming off Achilles and will be 36 at start of next season, that's a huge added risk. Disagree about him being a fine QB. He's not anywhere near elite, 1 and freaking 4 in post season, including an upset loss to giants

Jets get a new starter, who will be healthy for 5 games after replacing an injured Rodgers. Question for Jets now: who will replace Taylor?

Personally. I think the Falcons were nuts to sign Cousins to that contract at his age, coming off the injury he's rehabbing, but that's the price you pay.

In 88 games with the Vikings he was 50-37-1, with 171 tds, and a qbr of 101.
The knock is he’s not clutch, not that he’s a bad qb. Who is the starter for Minnesota now?

Who is the starter for Minnesota now? idk but i bet not a guy who will 36, coming of a serious injury, poor post season record, and ties up a lot of cap space for 4 years. I think only Cousins checks those boxes.

Pretty much non-event, bills needed to replenish depth at the position after not resigning Gabe Davis

Chargers waived Mike Williams and traded Allen for a 4th. Cap moves no doubt, but they also restructured the contracts of Mack and Bosa. They are emphasizing experience on defense first under Harbaugh.

Just shows modern football building requires failing fast on QBs and moving on. Gone are the days of giving QBs 4 or 5 years to develop.

Unreal.
Seems really cheap for him, but I don't think he is great anyways.
That trade for both of us sucked.
We got Toney and Neal They got Fields.
Yikes.

Kinda big news, i thought he was the man there. Also kinda like patriots not paying top dollar to keep players in the secondary. Pats often had good secondaries but it was a revolving door of named. I think maybe chiefs are copying them
