Then the Chargers trade Justin Herbert to the highest bidder.

The Chargers will peak in two years , while the Chiefs get older, cap problems and try to rebuild.

We’d still get them for at least three to four more when Jones is gone.

What else is there then (leaving Penix and Nix out of it)? DT? CB? Will they get the generational talent they need at those positions at 11? No way is it going to be OT and even if it is, at 11 may not get the best of the lot for OT there anyway.

personally, I'm not super enamoured with any of the top QBs this year. Assuming the first 5 picks are the big 4 QBs and MHJ, we'll have a lot of really good player so choose from at 6, and given our 2 FA Linemen that we signed this week, I'd be assuming the next WR on our boards. I don't see any of the defensive players being graded higher. I still like Fuaga, personally...

I think JJ is gonna go in that group and Minnesota has done what Buffalo did for Allen traded up gathering assets to possibly make a 2nd move I posted a long time ago that who ever want to get up needed to be planning it back in February Giants might be the odd man out.

You really need to stop acting like the grades that the talking heads give these players as the truth or that they are automatically a "generational" player. 
CB is a real big need for this team and a position that's worth taking at the top of the draft.
I also think they need an oline tackle due to the players they have have being often injured so I think you're wrong about that position being a "no way". 
DT is another option I would go with before a WR if the teams grades say they are better.

I am hoping a CB is graded higher on the Giants board over the WRs left when the Giants pick if they aren't going OT or QB.

I think at 11 the OT selections they will have available to them will not even be a plug and play starter as I imagine by then the very best of the lot will be gone. Granted with the free agent signings perhaps that's not necessary anymore but you'd like the 11th pick of the 1st round to be an automatic impact contributor and in the starting line up not hopeful valid depth (they may not be ready to start anyway) due to past injury concerns potentially rearing its ugly head.

At 11 do you feel that a CB or DT who is ready to start and make a solid impact as a rookie will still be available? If that's the case I am all for it.

everything I hear is Pats want Daniels, or trade down. Build a foundation for the future (i'd rather take QB)

Maye will be there, I like him better than Mccarthy who I also like, BUT:

JJ > Maye + 2025 first, second, 2024 first, etc. 

i dont think Cards are moving off of MHJ, someone could move up a take JJ at #5, Raiders?

That would make sense more than giving up that kind capital anyone out side of the top 3 Pats have Brisset ready to go for a couple years while they build.

As far as Neal goes it's really shitty when his technique is right he is tough to beat unfortunately he has bouts of inconsistency where it all goes south couple plays he was limping pretty bad in those clips to.

I'm not going to pretend I know if there are any and I think you will be incorrect about a starting oline tackle at 11 or later in the 1st not being a plug in starter out of the gate.
I would like to see the 2nd round pick be ready to start and make a solid impact so I'm with you wanting both of the picks 11 and 23 to be starters out of the gate. 
We have an example of the 6th pick not being a solid contributor even in year 2 so it's a gamble.

A failure of a 6th pick 5 years ago has absolutely nothing to do with the possible negative results of a 6th pick this season QB or another position.
Every pick is a gamble. Do your due diligence and pick the BPA to help your team. Sometimes it works sometimes it don’t but it has zero relation to the results of previous pick in similar spots in the draft.
