This guy was an absolute beast and will be a first ballot hall of famer. I still wish that we drafted him instead of Odell Beckham Jr. I wish him well in whatever he chooses to do next.

Got nothing but respect for the players who are able to exit the game on their terms.

Got nothing but respect for the players who are able to exit the game on their terms. It is always better to leave early than it is to leave too late. It is always a win when a player leaves that violent game with their health seemingly fully intact.

Besides feeding tough men their teeth for over a decade.. And beating the piss out of the bowels of guards and centers. He put a lot of wannabe experts on a vent with his height.. Short by nobodies standards.. he wrecked havoc on anyone and anything that got in his way. In an era where edge rushers got top billing. A defensive tackle stole the spotlight. You hear that.. That’s the sound of 31 quarterbacks breathing a sigh of relief.

I wanted him over Odell...
To be fair, Odell was a hell of a WR till he got hurt.

I never seen a senior bowl set of drills where a DT absolutely dominated each and every blocker ....the Donald vs Zack Martin drills were vintage
I was screaming at the TV to take him....
Enjoy retirement Mr. Donald...you were a treat to watch .... enjoy the HOF

Truly one of the greats. One of the players of this modern era you can definitively say is an all-timer. Certainly the best defensive player I’ve seen in the last 10 years. He was the guy that showed DCs what you could really do rushing the passer from the inside with a lean&mean DT who has quickness. The perfect counter to the modern timing based Os.

Enjoy retirement Mr. Donald...you were a treat to watch .... enjoy the HOF Many of us wanted him, in typical Jerry Reese fashion, he always leaned to skill. Obj was great yet our Giants won Super Bowls b/c of a pass rush
