I am 50/50 on trading back at 6 we get a great player and the misssing ingredient that has been a top #1 WR even with a deep WR class the Giants need that true #1. After that is it another OL if Neal moves inside? Seems like the secondary always needs help this time S for sure plus another DB. Then I would not mind another TE although it looks like that is being handled in FA. Then with SB gone I'd like to see a big bruising RB on the Giants that can runs hard. IDK, lot of holes just pick all starters please, kidding. Giants have a choice here they can be the Viking trade partner since they will probably leap frog us we might as well get an extra 1st out of it, or stand pat and draft the best WR that falls to us.

Even if he is not deserving, I feel like the FO will hand him the job. I think their ego will stop them from 'giving up' on Neal as an OT just yet I didn't think this would happen, but watching how they are handling the QB problem as if their isn't one this scenario is a good possibility. The only silver lining Eluminaire has played both Guards and tackles so he can slide in anywhere and if they want to give Neal a shot and he fails Eluminaire can slid in and trade spots with Neal. Im not really familiar with Eluemunor, figured he would be our next swing tackle, its nice that he plays guard as well.

I think that starting Guard will be Neal. Eluemunor is coming off a very strong season. Neal would have undergo an incredible amount of growth in the next 3 months to outplay him at RT. Now if the Giants simply hand Neal the job again, that's going to be another story. Even if he is not deserving, I feel like the FO will hand him the job. I think their ego will stop them from 'giving up' on Neal as an OT just yet I can see them giving Neal first crack at RT then see what happens. I just don't want them swapping linemen in and out like they did last summer. But based on 2023, Eluemunor is a significantly better RT.

I hear ya…I guess I’m just getting annoyed with the Oline. 10 years of the same stuff and no progress. That’s as bad as it gets. I'm with you. I feel pretty good about this OL but if Eluemunor isn't good and Neal doesn't improve and JMS regresses and AT is injured again (or any combo of those things) this falls apart again. Looking around the NFL I see a lot of mediocre OLs, we need to improve for sure but we also need a HC/OC that can still make somethings happen when the OL is playing poorly.

I'd be ok trading back with them IF we were not targeting a WR. Going back to 11 probably takes the top WRs off the board. I think I'd prefer to stay put and grab the stud we want.

There still will be some really good ones available at 11 and or 23 my problem is we don't have someone to get them the ball down the field. I would be happy either way tho take 1 of the top 3 or go down and grab one and draft a CB or a Guard or trade down 1 more time with 23 and get an extra second and some ones 1st and pile the talent up.

Last couple years he has found his game last year he played both Right tackle and left when the Raiders LT went down and was good at both also plays both Guard spot so they could go with Neal at tackle and move him later if need be.

I hope you're right, but I have a hard time believing a guy who hasn't played guard in 4-5 years, is just going to slide inside and play well. Neal may end up being a solid NFL guard, but it's doubtful it happens before 2025. There will be growing pains...it'll most likely be like being a rookie all over again.

This is misleading since he would've had 2 years of strengthening and seeing just how fast and strong the NFL players really are compared to what a rookie has faced in his past. Players move around and change positions all the time at this level but now a player on the Giants will regress 2 years doing it. I hope that's not what happens but he could just continue to bust and be a bad NFL player. That happens also.

Thing is everyone thinks it's easier inside it's not the action is on a guard faster and they are gonna still challenge a guards edges, he has done it so he knows what it is the best thing would be is if he can stay healthy and stick at tackle He has what he needs to win there he has had many winning reps there in passpro and in he run game when a tackle loses it's glaring and it almost always ends up bad what he needs is consistency.

Eh Jones throws a great deep ball, maybe we will have a line that doesn't give up 80 sacks this year. Overall I'm not worried about that. Even our back up has a tremendous arm.
I'll convince myself to be happy no matter what. Hell I convinced myself to be happy when we passed on Parsons for Toney lmao.

That was one that at least Toney looked like he was capable of being a greta play makers but his brain wasn't in lock step with his talent lol.
