I've always wanted to travel to Germany. It'd be awesome to see the Giants play there. I'd be able to watch the Giants live and have access to amazing beer!

honestly, since the craft brew craze got underway, american beer is as good as anything you get overseas. That didn't used to be the case...

That didn't used to be the case... there is a lot out there now. anything close to Guinness though? Bellhaven Black is closest I’ve found yet imported too. I don't drink a ton of stouts, so am not the best authority on those. I'm more of a hoppy relatively bitter IPA guy myself, and there are a plethora of them. I can't even keep up, lol. Lately I've been drinking a local one - Asbury Brewing Company Sea Dragon. Pretty damn good... |

I have never seen a bier frau that looked like that. Most that I have seen were pretty stout and fit what would you picture someone named Olga or Helga would look like. Back in the 80's the base my dad was stationed in would go out and play another base's team in Hamburg and most of the fans were Germans. It was catching on, plus Bockwurst was the shit at the stadiums there. This was pre-World Football League |
