And so do you
FYI: I like him as a 3rd choice after Daniels and JJ.

I like Bo and JJ this year. No one else wows me. I like the off platform throws and willingness to push the ball down field. The athleticism and the size.
I like that they have both won a lot of games.
JJ looks like more of a leader to me, gives him a slight edge for me

DJ doesn’t make the off platform plays, nor change of arm angles. He is accurate in a good pocket where he gets the time to put his feet and shoulders together. He’s got great straight line speed but no wiggle. Whereas Bo has average straight line speed and a little wiggle.

He's a system QB for me...I'd take Penix over him for more pure arm talent...both gonna have transition problems...both might have hit their ceilings IMHO. I'm wrong a lot, so don't take my word on it...he just doesn't move the needle as much over Jones for me in potential.

If we don't get one of the top 4 guys, my personal preference is to take the best position players in round 1 & 2 and take a flyer on a guy like Rattler or Milton on day 3. We can get 2 immediate starters in the first 2 rounds where there is a lot of talent.

And so do you FYI: I like him as a 3rd choice after Daniels and JJ. Just read an updated mock that states Nix still remains an incomplete player. Horrible decision maker at Auburn and the concern remains. He cleaned that up at Oregon but that is being attributed to a screens and RPO based offense. I agree with all of that. I watched Nix play every game at Auburn for 2 years. He was awful. His dad Patrick Nix coaches high school just up the road from here. Patrick Nix was a star quarterback at Auburn and everyone expected about Bo to be the same. Well, Bo got out of town with his butt tucked up between his legs. Bo is a great guy - he can run - he has a great arm - he is a great leader - he has JJ face of the franchise qualities. But I and many around here even more familiar with him think him making it in the NFL is a huge ? I understand why you like Nix more than people understand why I like JJ McCarthy 😊 When it comes down to it anybody that has a feeling about a quarterback really shouldn’t give a crap what other people think about it. You can feel the same way towards me about Nix - it’s all 👍

Including Bo (and his cousin Luke which nobody talks about for some reason). I understand the problems of not reading the field properly and missing open receivers and getting happy feet. However his pocket presence is good and really moves well inside and lets the receiver come back to him. Furthermore unlike our dum-dum qb when he runs he understand that he is NOT a RB and he gets down before the defenders can clobber him. I'm perfectly fine with the Giants not picking him. However if they choose him I would not be upset. If Daboll can make an average backup look like starter for a few games, he can do wonders with Bo

Is now a crack on the sidewalk in the league. I’ve seen enough of quarterbacks who can’t read for shit. Jones is still stuck on “the” in cat in the hat.

However if JJ is not there and the other QBs not named Wiliams or Penix is gone I would be ok with BN. All rookie QBs need time to develop and become what the scouting staff projects them to be. Heck I could even be talked into Maye as I see him having a high ceiling and can laser the football. What I would not be ok with is going into the season with a poor OL and two backup QBs. One who has proven not to be a NFL caliber QB

Simply based on the eye test Bo is my 3rd favorite QB too, but I’ve got Williams and Daniels ahead of him. If we’re considering age and upside then I put Maye and McCarthy up there in that same tier.
All five > Jones

I feel less crazy now. Sean Payton obviously liked Bo as much as any of us. He really was my fave QB in the class with McCarthy a close 2nd. I’ll be interested to see how he goes in Denver.
Couldn’t understand how so many pundits were talking about him being a mid round 2 guy.

We got our WR1 though, so in 2 years we’ll have a primadonna complaining about his contract or not getting the ball enough. So there’s that.
