So his short Giants career is longer than his marriage and his non-contributing career as a Giants is more successful than his marriage.
Really look forward to what’s next

Dude has battled addiction and now a big life change can trigger some stuff it could mean he's gonna play or maybe he is about to go a walk about.

I feel like this is their business and none of ours. Of course people are jumping the gun on social media and joking about the situation. I don't necessarily agree with Kelsey Plum posting a subliminal tweet about a personal matter either. As far as what Vinnie asked, I would think that it would have an affect on his decision. I've been through a divorce once in my life, and it took a toll on me mentally when I was in the Navy.

I have never been divorced but have plenty of friends and family that have and it caused a major reset on their lives. It ended up undoing everything they built up over their lives with the other person. I know they were only married a year but damn it has to really screw with your focus. Hell, not sure how Brady dealt with his.

Hell, not sure how Brady dealt with his. It was just crazy for me. For starters, she wrecked my car while I was on west pac (6 month deployment in the pacific ocean), let the insurance lapse while I was gone so I still had to pay for the accident and car in full, lied to my command repeatedly when we got back from deployment, depleted our savings account while i was gone, and did a few other things that I won't mention. My chief had to serve her the divorce papers. This was back in 2000.

That’s horrible man, if my wife cheated on me then all gloves are off other than that I don’t understand how someone can be so shitty to a person they once allegedly loved. If anything just give them enough respect to tell them you don’t want to be with them anymore, take what’s yours and leave so they can try to move on with their life.

And as far as Waller goes, he pissed me off with dragging this thing out with the Giants but as Dog alluded to, my first thought was I hope this doesn’t lead to him going back to alcohol/drugs. Unfortunately I’m all too familiar with that road.

I normally agree that this is none of our business except in this case his wife chose to share it with everyone.
As fans, we so often view these guys through our selfish lens of what have you done for me lately (me very much included). Their natural ability to do what we could only dream of while getting paid ridiculous amounts of money causes us to forget that they are very much like us emotionally.
I can only wish the guy well in his battles which he and so many of us live with every day.

After looking at those WNBA salaries if he didn't have a prenup he'll probably be back, lol Not to mention that the NBA subsidizes the WNBA so those salaries are already artificially inflated.

Time to move on from this guy already. One of the JS mistakes he needs to move on quickly from. TEs are a dime a dozen. Like RBs.

Life takes a back seat to no one.. In this business of breaking ankles and running roughshod over tough men. Even the mighty have fallen.. Life isn’t all fairy tales and happy endings.. There’s darkness that waits for you on every corner. It consumes you with empty promises as it inflicts cruelty into your dark heart.
Waller has seen the face of pain.. as he fights the monster known as addiction. It has broken happy homes.. and tore families apart. Playing ball at this level you have to be all in.. The slightest doubt and it’s a wrap

Never mind 6 months traveling around the Pacific but the stress of everything with her and no control over it at home. The divorce must have been a weight off your back. My divorce was a relief for me and we were only married for 1 year. It was a mistake from jump street. My 2nd marriage is going on 40 years in September and still strong. The first one a swing and a miss the 2nd one a Home Run. Oh that's right this is a football web site. Go Giants !

so Waller has his head up his ass and is at a midlife crisis. Prob already has another woman. They need to jettison this dude now. Dont even give a retirement choice. Make the decision for him. They gambled and lost in this one. Move on.
