Nabers is an easy one. Tracy Jr seems to be a popular sleeper prospect from different outlets.

Nabers was my favorite. Assuming our O line plays at a decent level, he opens up the entire offense, will demand double teams. I was tempted to select Burns. I think he will have a similar impact on our defense, and even though we shelled out a lot of cake on his new contract, he was worth the trade for our 2nd round pick.

For me it was Nabers. He can stretch the field. We needed a WR that can pull those safeties out of the Box. There is more to a WR than catching the ball and running roues. A good WR can enhance the run game just by his presences on the field. He will also draw a double team freeing up his WR teammates.
My least favorite was Tyrone Tracy Jr. He can run the ball. Appears he can shed a tackle against NCAA players. Can he against the best of the best. We'll see.
It is not the player picked I do not like, It is the position picked. Only 19 were picked very low count. Typically 25-30 are taken
We could have singed good RBs in FA. Frank Gore Jr. Southern Miss Emani Bailey TCU Blake Watson Memphis Cody Schrader Missouri Carson Steele UCLA

Burns is mine. Nabers will end up being wasted with bad QB play.

Burns is mine. Nabers will end up being wasted with bad QB play. No, he will gain roughly 1300 yards on 80 to 85 catches in his rookie year…..could score 12 to 13 TDs as well. Nabers is the best WR the Giants have ever had, and if he stays healthy he will be a perennial all-pro.

There’s no debate.. It’s Brian Burns by a country mile. The only certainty on draft picks is uncertainty. Burns been there.. done that at the highest level. His sole job will be to seek ball.. destroy carrier. He also plays a position that depends on no one but himself. Nabers will rely on the right arm of the quarterback. And the brute force of the offensive line.

Before he steps foot on the field or inks a contract. Fanatics are already fitting him with a gold jacket. I can see it now.. First catch.. he’s a pro bowler.. First touchdown.. he’s an all pro. First hundred yard game.. Jerry Rice is a chump. Talk is cheap.. results pay.

I picked Nabors I think he has the potential to be the biggest impact on the team. I wanted to pick Burns he will have the biggest impact on our defense this year. He has already produced as an impact player in the NFL. I think Burns, Okereke, and Dex are 3 all star type players.
Beside Nabors our offensive weapons are mediocre to be kind. Still a one trick pony and Nabors won't have his hands on the ball half as much as Saquon. He could be a double digit TD guy, he should // expect over 1,000 yds. In 17 game schedule that's like 59 yds per game.

Your predicting numbers like OBJ had in his first 3 years. All time great first 3 year numbers like OBJ and Randy Moss. That would be great if it happens, it would be at least one weapon in this offense. I don't think our QB situation can step up to accomplish it. Nabors certainly has the talent to reach these lofty goals.

Between Nabers and Burns but if I had to pick or I'd lose a chance at a Mill, Nabers I guess

Nabers obviously, but I really like Nubin as well in the 2nd. Burns I feel like you have to include the 2nd and 5th rounder, plus his massive contract. Still worth it to me though, but I am worried about his total sack production. I do think he is a really good player though.

The best pick may have been not trading away multiple picks including 1st rounders for Drake Maye.
I'm only saying that because Belichick was asked about Maye and looked disgusted at his footwork and work from the pocket. Called him the worst QB from the pocket out of any of the top QBs in the draft.
When Belichick speaks, I listen.

I like the value of Tracy in the 5th, I can see him getting time at RB and as a kick returner which is a lot more important this year. Seems like people are high on most of the selections for a value/upside perspective but the 3rd rounder has been the most scrutinized.
I feel WR was the right selection in the 1st, I like what Nabers can do on the football field...just hoping he keeps his head on straight. If it works out his impact could be huge.

I remember last year 4th rdr. Eric Gray that posters on this board were excited about and would be able to pick up yards that SB didn't. Now we got the 5th rounder who is also going to turn heads. Add in Singletary and we have one the best rb by commitee situations in the NFL until reality sets in. Hopefully Gray can actually get on the field. The rb from this draft just became an rb so I can see some 3rd down work because of his hands maybe we found a diamond in the rough. It is funny every year we get excited about these late round drafts picks and forget we were excited last year about late round drafts picks.
