Here's an AI list which has obvious flaws and omissions, but what it proves is 100 players is an awful lot to honor. Lawrence Taylor Eli Manning Michael Strahan Frank Gifford Y.A. Tittle Harry Carson Sam Huff Phil Simms Mel Hein Roosevelt Brown Tiki Barber Emlen Tunnell Andy Robustelli Charlie Conerly Carl Banks Amani Toomer Osi Umenyiora Mark Bavaro Justin Tuck Ken Strong Leonard Marshall Ottis Anderson Joe Morris Jessie Armstead Joe Morrison Rodney Hampton Brad Van Pelt Doug Van Horn Kyle Rote Rosey Grier Ernie Stautner Jack Gregory Bart Oates Pepper Johnson Tuffy Leemans Pat Summerall Dave Meggett Brad Benson Jim Katcavage Dick Lynch Ron Johnson William Roberts Shaun O'Hara George Martin Ray Flaherty Plaxico Burress Dave Jennings Jumbo Elliott Tom Landry Henry Carr Brian Kelley Bill Parcells (as a coach) Michael Boley Jay Alford Ike Hilliard Aaron Pierce Jason Sehorn Everson Walls Bob Tucker Keith Hamilton Pete Henry Carl "Spider" Lockhart Homer Jones Ken Burrough Steve DeOssie William Joseph David Tyree Victor Cruz Saquon Barkley Odell Beckham Jr. Lawrence Tynes Kerry Collins Corey Webster Dan Campbell Brandon Jacobs Derrick Ward Mario Manningham Dalvin Tomlinson Jason Pierre-Paul Antrel Rolle Landon Collins Steve Smith Zak DeOssie Alex Webster John Mendenhall Troy Archer Gary Reasons Tom Coughlin Fred Dryer Bob Lurtsama Jim Katcavage Del Schofner Ray Wietehca Jim Burt I would put Eli just ahead of Brad Benson.

Since this is a player's list, I don't expect we'll see any coaches. So any of you Handley lovers can just forget it.

I can’t possibly imagine who would be number one. These lists are like beating a dead horse. Rehash, rehash, rehash……

I call PS he and Perkins should be right at the top I never got a feel for Ray. I have no memory of any of his press conferences. I was pretty young, so I don’t remember those either. What I remember is run on first, run on 2nd and pass on 3rd if over 3 yards, otherwise run on 3rd. Parcells was a breath of fresh air.

That's funny because that's what Parcells ended up becoming in the end.

SQB I did not realize he had over 7000 all purpose yards and 47 TDs thats basically in 5 years being a he tore his ACL and MCL 1 QT into the second game of 2019 that is some serious production glad he made the top 100.

Perkins was a good coach I thought Handley was a genius just not when it came to football I remember reading Handley could count cards in vegas think he might have gotten banned from a place.

It is going to be hard for me to take this seriously if they are slotting Hakeem Nicks in at #97.

Southern, buttoned up style. defense orientations, pretty much forgettable taking questions. He was an upgrade for us at the time so I was happy to have him but he was just a bridge from the dark ages we lived through before that.

Just bumping this to let everyone know that I'm updating the OP as the Giants continue to release their countdown of players. Right now they have realized 71-100 which include some great Giants.

Not on this planet or the authors is Antonio Pierce higher than Pepper Johnson.. Most teams are cooked when they lose the meat and potatoes of their defense. Losing Carson to retirement left a giant hole at linebacker. While most players bite off more than they can chew from the challenge of filling those massive shoulder pads. We sprinkled some pepper to an already stacked defense and fed opposing offenses to the earth.
The great Bill Belichick has stated that no linebacker he has ever coached had the speed and athleticism of Lawrence Taylor. Right behind him he put Pepper Johnson. Lofty words from a man who said so little. Johnson gave our defense something it never had before. The ability to rush the passer from the inside linebacker position. While there is so much to choose from when you’re making a defense. Sometimes you need old reliable pepper to get the right taste.

Good to see Gary Reasons recognized right along side Pepper. Reasons was a play maker whose name may have been overshadowed by the names of Taylor, Banks and the others while his game wasn't. He contributed big time to the Giants D with everyone remembering the goal line shot in the snow against the Broncos.

I could give you a hundred reasons why Gary should be on that list.. Hell of a player.. Who still has the best goal line hit of all time.

The story is after that game they had to change his face mask, he bent it on that hit.

In what world are Bradshaw, Meggett, and Jacobs higher than Barkley. and Meggett...isn't that guy in jail? haha
Jacobs the same guy who was yapping that he was disrespected by the Giants when he was on the 49ers before getting suspended from the 49ers for Tweeting...so similar situation as Barkley but I thought Jacobs was more vocally negative about the NYG after leaving.
I don't think an organization rating their own players like this is a great idea.
