Looking forward to it but I’m not judging anything off one game, especially against the Vikings, unless it’s an old skool ass whooping one way or the other. Hoping to see some good solid football, win or lose. I predict ALOT of hot takes after this game. Whichever way it goes. Got a bunch of rookies starting, an OL in it's first snaps together. Mistakes are going to be made. For sure, I’ll try to wait until weeks 3-4 before I pass judgement one way or the other but that’s easier said than done. MN has plenty of it’s own issues as well so it should be a good match up, this isn’t like playing the cows last year who were a veteran team familiar with each other, the coaches and the playbook. |

Most of them are dumbasses with $$ most people are dumbasses with thier money. Not really a lot of young people who know about personal finance and how to invest. Alot of these athletes trust advisors to invest thier money who turn around and lose it or steal it. Ithink there was even a NFL or NFLPA approved finace service that got sued recently for stealing money or misleading players. I know alot on this message board are older folks and they think they can do better with that money athletes get but I bet 80 percent of people here would end up the same way with that much money thrown at them at such a young age. I if I knew what I know now back then I would do things differently but If I got a lump sum of money when I was 22 I would just take care of my family, enjoy life,spend it and boast about it. |

Even as a Giants fan I have to admit about the only reason I'm tuning in is to watch Nabers debut. Have to say if my buddy called me and said there are some crazy big fish hitting I'd probably for go the game for the first time in about 45 years. |

First game of the year.
With a team like this my personal opinion is it has to finish the season strong, i'm not as concerned about the first part of the year regardless of what the schedule looks like. But given the fan-traumatic way they started last year they need to have strong game today to take the temperature down for them. This is a young team, it will have a tendency to play emotionally, up and down.
But that aside, let's just make it to game 2 with all our starters please.
This team isn't good enough to overcome injuries to basically anywhere on the o line, d line.
