More problems: Five drops, endless penalties (9 for 95), no throws downfield (20+ yards). Brian Daboll wasn't the answer calling plays.

Both sacks Andrew Thomas gave up on this game are because of cluelessness at QB.. And people keep referencing sack statistics yet don't apply any context. It's how you get to this position I was gonna mention that he stepped into a pocket that he didn't need to step up into because it was blocked up not sure about the other one I saw him leave a good pocket several times. Like I thought big blue This year, all of the classic things holding back Jones will all come together. What do we get? 6 points |

This season is over unless they bench DJ. see you next season! It was probably a 6 or 7 win season with any of the QB’s we have ….only we Giant fans have the prayer vs the reality of the non Giant fans who see the lack of talent, holes and of course…lack of a starting QB Makes you wonder why at pick 2 we get a RB vs needed QB, and last year we take a WR at pick 6 vs a needed QB Hit or miss…you always take a QB when you need one vs. a skill position |

Tell me Is that sack on Jones, or the OL? Anyone Didn't watch but i did see him cause at least 2 sacks by stepping out of a solid pocket he sucks. what makes it worse he was a better thrower before the second neck injury he has regressed even more he wasn't good to start but looks like he has lost something. |

That last drive throwing 2 short dump offs then punting on 4th down with little time left really sums up those game and possibly the season. Why not air it out???
Not one pass longer then 20 yards??? All game with what was billed as an improved O Line.
No wonder Nabjors was frustrated

What do we get? 6 points He is worse I think maybe some combination of his neck injuries and the fact they took the training wheels off and he is not responding because he can' process or throw with anicicpation. |

Play calling was horrendous. QB was horrendous. Running game was horrendous. There wasn’t a single thing to be happy about except Dexter and Andru Phillips. |

I think the play calling is a direct result of the lack of confidence in the QB. It was that way last year and even in the playoff year. Dabol doesn't have confidence in Jones and I think this is the result. To not even attempt to push the ball downfield in a bit of a head scratcher though No , stop giving Daboll a pass .. I don’t care how bad Jones is this offense sucks .. we just drafted a true deep threat and not 1 attempt deep !?? With Dabolls ego if he wanted Jones to take shots deep he would tell him because at the end of the day if he missed the fans would blame Jones anyway .. Daboll is the worst coach in the NFL playing from behind .. he just wants to dink and dunk and keep games close .. Not disagreeing that jones sucks but Daboll Is the biggest prob on these team . He was trash last year and we still kept him .. I don’t care what anyone says , Wink should have gotten an opportunity to coach this team .. The players played hard for him . these players don’t respect or play hard for Daboll . |

Not much to add.
We're an extremely bad team or at least we were today.
100 years and we're going to watch this nightmare of a season it looks like.
Truthfully I'm not mad or upset. Just resigned to yet another season like too many previously.
Still happy football is back but the season will be about hoping certain teams don't win it all instead of hoping mine has a chance.

There is a reason Wink couldn't get another NFL job. I watched Buffalo when Daboll was OC, did you? With a real QB, his play calling was completely different. I have several friends who are Bills fans and they all wish he was still there. Do you really think Daboll forgot how to call plays? He has absolutely ZERO confidence in Jones to push the ball down the field. Jones has horrible pocket presence, he stepped out of a pocket into pressure more than once today. He missed open receivers again today. The play calling is a direct result of the lack of confidence (rightly so) in Jones because he is not a good QB. He couldn't even hit receivers on 10-15 yard passes. He sucks...period! |

Giants are a total mess on so many levels. Giants needed to be aggressive at beginning of game and wasn't. Daboll's awc offensive system brings out the worse in players.
It's now clear the Buffalo was a good team as it had a smart coach. Daboll is simply a bad coach. No reason to go over all the bad things Daboll did. Jones was bad as was Daboll.
I like good football. No future with Daboll. Even a better QB won't help. Going to watch Jets tomorrow night. Hope they'll play well and there's a NY team to root for. Feel bad for Giants fans. Nothing to look forward to.
