Odell Beckham Jr hosted a camp for kids today. Some media was present. As per Ralph Vacchiano twitter feed twitter.com/RVacchianoSNY Will we see you at camp? “Yes sir. Yes you will,” he said. So no holdout? “No. No holdout.”

There’s no way he can get paid if he doesn’t prove himself post injury.
He’s being smart as the Giants will take care of him with his contract.

Glad that Odell won't be holding out. Smart move on his part since the Giants hold the leverage especially with him coming off of an injury. He deserves to get paid and he will.

No reason to hold out. Still under contract for 1 more yr & the Giants can franchise tag him till 2020 if they so seem fit to do. He really has no leverage on the team. Honor your deal, have a monster yr that proves you are 100% healed from the ankle break & the Giants will reward you for the next 4-5yrs with a well deserved new contract.

He's confident and he should be.
He seems to be acting like a guy who knows it is all going to work out very, very well.
Good on him; I like it.

Rock star, who may have been humbled this past year with the injury... which provided a mortality lesson that football is a cherished commodity and winning a super bowl is not as easy as it looks. Props to OBJ... and kids love 'em. Wishing him an MVP season...

Hold outs put a bad taste in our mouths. Happy to hear he doesn't have those ideas in his head. Looking forward to a good season.

He’ll be at camp but I would be stunned if he plays in a single preseason game

He’ll be at camp but I would be stunned if he plays in a single preseason game I want to see him in a preseason game. I think it's really important to see if he lost a step due to injury, which could impact the amount of money he should be paid.

I don't think anyone can know until he plays several games. The difference between the greatness of Odell and the ability of an ordinary NFL WR is pretty suble and can only really be seen on the field...in games. At least that's my opinion.

And add the difference in how he handles pressure and defense's focus vs. most other players, can only be shown under those circumstances, as well.

Medically cleared and being back to 100% or as close as he is going to get are not the same. Rehab will continue until progress hits a ceiling.

I think the doctors and coaching staff know he is back to normal physically. The concern is if the injury is affecting his head. They see him run and workout most days.

To definitively know if Odell is “Odell” will need a few plays in preseason and then a couple of reg seasons games.

The franchise tag is $15m. OBJ wants $20m. A 3 yr new contract at 15, 18, & 20 doesn't seem unreasonable to me. I really hope he reports to training camp. It really benefits him to be there. I want him to stay a Giant. www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/o...and-heres-why/

I'm also in the camp that you won't really know if this injury will be a factor for Odell until he plays a few regular season games at full speed..
