It's fun if you go on a day that's not too hot, as there is no shade anywhere.
Also, if you want an autograph or pic, start waiting on line as soon as you get there, because by the time practice ends, the line is 3 miles long. In the direct sun.

My favorite training camp story is up in Albany 2008.
Mike Pope comes walking up and hands my daughter a piece of gum.
She was about 9 years old and as he handed it to her, he said only 3 words - "Super Bowl Gum".

Trying to get to the Saturday practice. Realistically how early should we get there to make sure we can get a seat? Never been there before.

If it's a nice day I'd suggest getting there at noon if you want a seat in the stands.
