Not much going on this time of year, so why not take a look at "the Third phase".
How will the new kick off rules affect things? Not sure but perhaps there'll be more long returns.
Will Aldrick Rosas be Giant's place kicker? Should we believe in him?. Personally, I'd be OK with it, if that's what the coaches decide. Maybe last year's overall team dysfunctionality threw him off a little.
Should Giants use Saquon as a kickoff return guy?
Go Giants!

This is one area we have been poor at over the years, too many times giving the other team the advantage over poor field position or whatever, ugh!
DeSean Jackson anyone?

Any rule changes in place to help our woeful STs, I'm all in favor of. Oh, and yeah... player safety. Truthfully, if we have a guy who can catch a KO and take a knee in the endzone, that would be great. We should always be looking for a kicker. It's not as if they need team chemistry to get their job done. If they are good enough they can mesh with a holder and snapper within a few days. If Rosas was thrown off by the team's dysfunction then he's mentally too weak to be an NFL kicker. No, do not use Barkley as a return guy. If he's all that he's cracked up to be I want to preserve him.

Man Barkley is quick. If he gets one little opening he is gone. I doubt that they risk their #2 pick on returns although I'd like to see it in certain situations. Just having him back there could rattle the kicker into kicking away from him and out of bounds for penalty. Automatic good field position by just having him stand back there with another guy

Having to rush kicks affects accuracy. Saquon could excel as a returner, especially with the new rules.

I'm happy we have a new Special Teams coach and I'll trust his judgement until proven otherwise. I think Rosas may choke in preseason and open the door for the other kicker.

I have no faith in Rosas, guess we'll see how it goes in training camp/'pre-season games.

I remember he had a lot of Rookie swagger that did not transfer to performance... not really fan... I prefer Kickers to be low key with consistency I believe the Giants did bring in another kicker... not sure how that is going...
Special teams has not been good for the Giants and I would prefer that we keep Saquon in the backfield. Dude has not taken a snap in the NFL and already wanting to expand his role.
