I still think the defensive and O Line talent outweighs the QBs where we pick in the first round this draft, except for maybe Murray. If he is there at 6, we will be hard pressed to pass on him. Other than that, the front 7 on D and right tackle need to be prioritized this year, and the talent pool lines up well for it.

I hope DG believes in this as well...we're a 6 win team next year, and should be in the running for a move up to QB next year. This draft is far too deep on defense to overlook a pass rusher or 2 ... if a team is porous on defense, you could not ask for a better year to make it stronger. I want to hear defense on 3 of the top 4 picks...and that other pick an offensive tackle.

Who’s dropping his stock.. analysts and guru’s? Their boards rarely compare to the actual draft after the first handful of picks and we will never know if Haskins is really falling on the teams’’ big boards. Had he made negative headlines or something I’d get it, but this seems like a non factor in his stock

As Haskins gets older, he'll just get bigger and slower. He looks like a naturally big guy. If he does not live in the gym, thing Vince Young or I think Haskins is great throwing from the pocket, but watch his tape when plays break down. Scary stuff. He'll stand in and take a hit to get a throw off, but if no one is open... coverage sack.

Maybe they are now just realizing what I realized months ago... He just isn't a good prospect. Maybe he plays well maybe he doesn't, but I watch his tape and see a QB who has down field accuracy issues. I see a limited talent on the kid. I don't see superstar. Murray is the ultimate boom or bust QB. Needs the right system and support to be a good fit. These QBs don't do it for me. The next 2 years are loaded with QBs with much better projections IMO. 2020: Tua seems to be a sure thing. Herbert had a bad year this year. He has shown nothing to this point to indicate that he is a better QB than Haskins. Fromm is more immobile than Haskins is alleged to be. 2021: Lawrence - you’re not getting this guy unless you have the #1 pick in the draft. So basically, we have to hope that we’re the only team that wants a QB for the next 2 years.

Lefty’s notoriously suck in the league with just a handful of exceptions. I think Herbert and Fromm can both have bounce back years. I’ve seen Fromm be very mobile so im not sure what people are talking about. Still early for any Lawrence hysteria, he reminds me of Fromm his freshman year and this year was a letdown as Fromm showed some digression. Im excited to see how all 4 pan out this season.

I don't know what to think about Haskins. This tape from Kollman of his "lowlights" starts at 6.25. When he's bad he looks awful:

Well if we could get a guy like Devin White at #6 and then Haskins at #17........I'd be happy. I would be fine with that.
