Person that makes comments that are internationally condemned as racist is usually a give away that the person making the comments is a racist.

I wouldn’t take him, don’t want the distractions and he might not even be as good as his brother.

There’s probably an owner with similar views as this guy so he’ll probably go top 5.

What's the racist part?

There’s probably an owner with similar views as this guy so he’ll probably go top 5. That’s a valid point. Although imo some of your reasons for him being a racist are things I would not agree with that’s irrelevant. You posed a valid question in regards to if it would be a concern for a team or us as fans if we drafted this guy. I think there is no concern but these franchises look into every little thing because of the investment they make in these players. Marcuells Wiley DT for the Chargers once told a story how one in one of the pre draft interviews by the Giants, one of the questions they asked him was in regards to if he wet the bed as a kid lol. Sounds crazy but it’s crazy what gets looked at.

Even if he was a 5-10 pick, DG wouldn’t tolerate that. Heck even Reese would’ve done his DD on all of this.

And it took about three seconds to figure out what this thread was actually about. Enough time to hit the back button and not be involved. You didn't do that, you got involved and kept reading and then you responded. You really are in complete control of your actions. Asking that others be silenced is not a justifiable way to protect yourself from your own choices. I am not confused by the issue, I know what the issue is, I am confused why people keep doing things they state they don't wish to do. lol....In all the years you've been posting I never picked up on your thickness. You never came across that way to me before. You seemed so level headed. I'll try to explain this again. It is a rule on this board not to discuss politics. The op Jedi I mind tricked us into opening his political thread. I stated that was not appropriate. Trying to point out the rules is NOT getting involved in a political discussion. It simply just isn't. This is a privately owned entity that has no obligation to your first amendment rights.
For the record, I believe we should be able to discuss political issues which are directly related to the NFL.
So discussion about Bosa and his tweets are fine in my book. Comments about one's own personal political views are not.

It’s close. Can’t go wrong with either imo. Who do you think plays the run better ? That’s very important imo. I think they are about equal. Allen gets downgraded a bit because he gets himself too far up field at times opening up the running lane, but I think that had as much to do with what he was asked to do on the field as his ability to play the run. Both are quite strong at the point of attack, Bosa has some more girth to him though. Not enough to make a difference against a 320lb tackle though. End results against the run I think will be similar. Allen seems to me to be the more mature player and person and does not have the injury history that Bosa carries. If I am picking #1, I'd have a tough time deciding between Q.Williams and Allen; but Bosa wouldn't be part of the discussion, I think those two are clearly better prospects. I would take Williams over both but it would be close. Williams is a perfect fit for this defense. His ability to handle double teams and his strength is what puts him over the top for me. I agree with you in regards that the issues the OP has with Bosa would not be a concern for me. Not sure why your explanation of it not being a concern or a deterrent for you is making people uncomfortable.

brilliant. Don't you think if you have to "read between the lines" that you may be trying a little too hard to FIND something racist? Not all Trump supporters are racist. I did not see Blank Panther and I like classic rock. What does that make me?
Old like me.

I'm tired of politics and racism debates. I thought this was a football forum.
Is there a mod to intervene? Or is every thread going to be a new THEE thread?

My other point is him not liking the music of Destiny’s child is not a precursor to being a racist. So for me I would have no issue if he fell to 6 with us taking him.

Or is every thread going to be a new THEE thread? bosa probably goes top 3 but with the outside chance he falls to 6, do you overlook his views and draft him? They just got rid of OBJ for all the baggage he was carrying. Now that these things are becoming public, Bosa will have to earn the respect of his new teammates.

I haven't heard anything issues about Odell or Bosa having issues in the locker room.

I was under the impression that it was against the rules, like TAGF. My bad. Have at it!!! How about calling that football player a racist because you "read between the lines"?

Reading between the lines is a slippery slope and I would vote against that. But with that said, I do believe there have been things written about his tweets and "likes" that make the case for discussion.
I don't give a crap about his support Trump or his views against Kap. But I did see things that I felt were questionable.
But with that said, I'm not going to state them here simply because I haven't taken the time to verify whether or not they are actually true.

odell had other issues that management wasn’t willing to tolerate anymore. I think Bosa has a far bigger issue to address because he liked so many comments that many perceive to be anti black. It started with minor things like hating on Beyoncé and Black Panther (which anyone can). But it caused people to dig deeper and find more things that were eye opening such as him liking homophobic comments and comments that were geared towards and against blacks when there was national news (Ferguson).

Absolutely fair. I am curious to see how this stuff will affect his draft status. Like I said earlier, people do evolve. He might not even share the same beliefs now that he did then.
