I don’t think he’ll be there at 6. But if teams pass up on him due to some of his controversial and IMO racist views on his social media account, would you still be ok with the Giants drafting him?

I do not like it when any athlete injects politics in sports. So I do not like his old tweets. However, maybe I am not seeing them all, but what exactly did he say that was racist?

There is no upside. You will piss off half the fans no matter which way you go. His brother is in the NFL you would think he would know better

He'll never make it to 6 because nothing he said would keep teams from drafting him.

If he is there at 6 I would draft him in a heartbeat. He has said nothing racist! All he did was criticize that moron Kaepernick and praise a couple great Presidents. I wouldn't have deleted anything. A man must have convictions and stick by them. He is a supreme talent. You don't pass that up.

There is something about him that just doesn't ring true to me, having nothing to do with his tweets. His brother is a very good NFLer. I'm not so sure he will be up to that level. The injury, his decision to not even try to come back to his team afterwards. Maybe I've been reading too much into that, but it's how I feel.

I made the same point about Rosen last year with his political college shenanigans as well. Keep it away from sports and sports channels.
That said, the OP made a charge that Bosa made racist tweets. I have been unable to find any that were racist, just politically controversial(and dumb.) Bosa did delete all of them tho so maybe I missed some. Either way, I think if someone is going to be accused of racism that is a strong assertion that should greatly impact his draft status, among other things in today's climate. So I think it is important to back up that strong claim.

I heard about this, what did he exactly say?? Nothing really. He just said that Trump and Ronald Reagan "were GOATs" and the Beyonce had trash music. Not much beyond that. I don't think there is anything wrong with his comments but I do think it was really stupid for him to make them on social media in a climate where most people are overly sensitive.

Not me. He had an ACL in high school and abdominal surgery last year. Of course, I would never draft anyone who ever had so much as a toothache. I am also not counting on Beal.

Brady was friends with Trump but would not admit to voting for him which I think one would do if they were a "huge Trump supporter." His wife also came out and said that they don't support him politically and Brady didn't go to the White House after they won the super bowl in 2017. I know politics are a no-no on this board though and will refrain from talking about our current president and his job performance.

How can anyone vote no here? Bosa isn't not going 1 or 2. Kid would be an all pro here rushing passers.

Racist views? Such a silly question. If Bosa is available at 6, and we are not going QB at that spot...that's a no brainer pick if Bosa falls.

I deleted the political posts as well as any post that copied the post in as a quoted reply. While not strictly prohibited we do ask that political talk be kept out of the football sections. Thanks.

Regardless of your own beliefs, he is entitled to his opinion. He didn't really say anything incendiary IMO. I really dislike politics and think that there are clowns on both sides. So many insults and friendships broken over dumb ass political opinions.

That's why I suggest a separate "political thread/ section". Not even in the "Thee Thread" ,just mark it Politics and walk away................... I disagree with that. There are plenty of other avenues for people to discuss politics. I actually prefer not to know anyone's political beliefs on here. Things went really bad on the old boards when that Kaepernick thing went down. Political debates and disagreements are rarely civilized.

**** yeah you take him at 6! I'd personally trade up to 2 or 3 for him because he's a generational player and we desperately need a pass rush!
