Gettleman said at his presser that he is looking for a QB who can handle the pressure of NY.
There is only one QB who fits that bill ... Haskins.
Played in front of 100K every week for a rabid fan base. Played big in big games. Shook off a bad first half against Penn State and led a comeback win on the road (no tougher place to play than Penn State at night). As a red-shirt freshman in 2017, replaced the injured starter on the road against Michigan and lit it up.

I agree to some extent on what you are saying. I think Dave was alluding to . When things are going wrong . All QBs will face that. Can he handle to constant badgering that the NY press has shown with Eli? That is a tough nut to take day after day week after week without loosing your composure.

No, He's talking about Jones or Lock. Haskins is going to fall in with the wrong crowd, and eat himself out of the league.
Jemarcus Rusell 2.0

Jemarcus Rusell 2.0 How can you possibly predict he’s going to “fall in with the wrong crowd?” Have you heard him talk or watched interviews? I don’t really want him, but he seems like a great kid and has a good head on his shoulders. I just listened to him again the other day on the radio. He’s talked w Jim Rome, Steve Mariucci, profootball talk, fox sports, etc. Not once have I gotten the feeling he could be trouble. Can you expand on your statement? Maybe I missed something. Thanks
