Sounds like someone really needs to be prescribed some anti-psychotic meds. I said it before, and I'll say it again...it'll come out sooner or later that this dude is bipolar. basically all you can do when dealing with someone like this:

Sounds like a complete idiot here sent him to a stacked team to die. The other teams in trade discussions said they weren't giving what Cleveland gave. Sounds like he wanted Cali poor woe is me.

It was totally a business decision. They got three players out of the deal and ridded themselves of that huge contract. Two players are already starters and one has a chance to start. Trade one player for three starters. I'd say it was all business....

I think I spoke with you before about our personal experiences with this sickness so I hope you understand where Im coming from.

Trade one player for three starters. I'd say it was all business.... if they end up with three starters and one or two are quality starters they win. You win games with teams that have good players and solid starters to supplement their stars.

I remember getting harsh words thrown at me for calling him mental and a cancer when he was with the Giants.
Funny how the jersey change changes peoples opinions.

But from ownership to the coaches he was semi kept in check now no one is keeping him in check and he is sounding more and more like a fool. If they wanted to hurt him they could have sent him to the Bengals or Cardinals.

I can only speak for myself when I say this but here are my thoughts on the situation.... It wasnt the jersey that changed my mind...it was the lack of accountability and boundries that his new organization has failed to place on him that has allowed the "unfiltered" version of OBJ to finally reveal itself in all its glory. Trust me when I say, the Browns are not doing OBJ a favor. The Browns have historically had the worst player support system in the league.

Its only gonna be worse with his antics in cleveland. as someone above used the term enabler, and hes gonna be encouraged to "be himself". that teams personalities are gonna be out of control. they have the talent to win, but man thats gonna be a helluva soap opera.
Theres not much else to do now but hate on the giants for Odell, but once the season rolls around there'll be plenty of jawing about their opponents and other players. clevelands' going to instigate a lot of nonsense with their opposing teams.
Ive been a fan of OBJ despite his antics, but with every week im more and more glad we got rid of this nonsense.
as i always say, its gonna be sweet when we start winning.....

HE threw Eli under the bus as a Giant. HE called out the coaches as a Giant. He went to Miami on a boat trip and got socked by kicking nets as a Giant. He was a loose canon here, completely unstable. Starting with the fight with Josh Norman when he looked for the fight.

In the off-season after the boat trip there was talk of trading him them. I was OK with it then also. I would rather lose and the Giants display the class that they generally have been known for than win and be embarrassed by the people wearing the uniform

Its one thing acting like a fool...you can chalk it up to being caught up in the moment. It reaches a whole new level when you talk and act like a fool all the time. While in blue, up until the interview with Josina, he was filtered as far as what he said to the media. Not completely, but way more filtered than he is now. If you identified his bipolar sickness years ago, I commend you. For me, I needed to hear in his own words, how irrational and warped his thinking was.

Great player, but all about himself, his brand, and a cancer.

Anyone want to buy a slightly used Beckham jersey? Maybe someone in Cleveland. They must be thrilled with his characterization of their city as place where people are banished to die.

I would rather lose and the Giants display the class that they generally have been known for than win and be embarrassed by the people wearing the uniform I agree....some, many fans, say they dont care about the player just that they are good and the team wins... Not me....I take this stuff personally and if the team is loaded with jerk offs and I still root for them then its a reflection on me. Thats is how I feel about it. There are plenty of good players and even great players that are not overt douche bags. A GM can still load his team with talent and "good guys".... Of course every team has their a-holes but do you want the face of your franchise or the two faces of your franchises to be jerk offs??

I called Beckham T.O. jr while he was still on the team and no one bought into it. Now...?

Starting with the fight with Josh Norman when he looked for the fight. I hung in for him all the way through the new contract. I rationalized it as a kid growing up and suggested patience, while never excusing for the dumb antics. I turned hard on him in the end over the steady stream of useless distractions. Distraction hurt any business or team. The best organizations are able to get everyone focused on the activities that lead to winning. He was a disaster in that regard. He may be clinically impaired or not, it doesn't really matter. All that matters is that he is gone and we are back to football.
What a relief!
