Derick Brown is an outstanding player but he's not a real threat to get to the QB. He's not worth the 4th pick for us.
His problem is his position. I think he would be a terrible pick for us. No way Judge allows it.

He did so while playing up and down the line. He is a rare player. He is a 0 to 5 tech DT.

Doesn't address any of our biggest needs, and creates a bigger logjam at a position of strength. I would take Okudah or Simmons before Brown in this draft, and I'd take OT before any of these 3. Only defensive player I'd consider over OT is Young.

12: R1P12 OT TRISTAN WIRFS IOWA- Uber talented OL prospect. He was the last of the fab 4 remaining. He certainly needs to clean some things up but he could be very very good. Athletic freak
19: R1P19 LB PATRICK QUEEN LSU- trading back gives us a good chance of landing a really good LB, Edge, or WR in the first as well as an OL. Queen would be a really good get for this defense.
45: R2P13 WR JALEN REAGOR TCU- Speed at WR. Reagor had a ton of hype heading into the combine and his 40 disappointed, but he’s still very fast, he might have had unrealistic expectations for the 40, but watching him play you can tell he has a great amount of speed. He’ll add that missing dimension to the passing game.
76: R3P12 EDGE ALTON ROBINSON SYRACUSE- talented edge which is a definite need for us. I like his game a lot.
80: R3P16 S KENNY ROBINSON XFL- Kenny Robinson is one of the most interesting stories in the NFL draft. College to XFL and he’s still draft eligible. I like his game a lot and he might start a trend for some people trying to go that route if it works out big for him
99: R3P35 EDGE DARRELL TAYLOR TENNESSEE- insanely talented edge. Needs to work on consistency but there’s glimpses of him absolutely dominating the top level of competition in college ball. Great athleticism and bend.
119: R4P13 TE ALBERT OKWUEGBUNAM MISSOURI- Uber talented TE. Could potentially make Engram expendable
134: R4P28 CB TROY PRIDE JR. NOTRE DAME- getting a slot CB is a most. Whether it’s Ballentine or someone who steps up or it’s someone brought in through the draft.
150: R5P4 LB MARKUS BAILEY PURDUE- another interesting story. Bailey was rated very high and is coming off an injury. Videos have surfaced of him moving around and working out and he’s looking good right now. He could slide due to people not being able to examine him closely but to get one of the top LB prospects this late it’s worth the roll of the dice in the 5th
183: R6P4 OT JACK DRISCOLL AUBURN- very under appreciated out of Auburn. He’s really good I think
218: R7P4 G DANNY PINTER BALL STATE- depth at guard. He has been getting some steam. I think his game and reports about him
238: R7P24 RB JAMES ROBINSON ILLINOIS STATE- under the radar RB to compliment Barkley and Dion Lewis
247: R7P33 G YASIR DURANT MISSOURI- talented guy who seems to be projected late day 3 on nearly every board which is surprising to me. I would definitely roll the dice on him late.
255: R7P41 DL DARRION DANIELS NEBRASKA- I actually meant to select Carlos Davis from Nebraska (LOL) but Daniels was fun to watch at Nebraska. Not the athletic freaks that the Davis twins are but he’s a solid player and another body to throw into that deep DL core

Allows us to move Thomlinson for a 2nd or 3rd round draft pick , or with picks to move up in the draft. It also ties up 2 thirds of our Defensive front for a minimum of 4-5 years on cheap rookie contracts. Not having to shell 8-12 for Thomlinson next year. Brown is a cheaper upgrade.

Signing Tomlinson should not cost that much, in today’s NFL. Three years at nine million is a fair price . plus, it doesn’t solve our LB , OT or receiver problem. This is not a knock on Brown . on a Sports radio show , it was said the Skins may value Simmons over Young at number two. IDK, but something to think about.

Please let that happen Because it now puts a lot of pressure on Detroit 1.do they pass on the unicorn to trade back and we get the prize of the draft ? 2.do they take the Unicorn and we get our 2nd and 3rd from Sam Diego and our Fab 4 OT.. Win Win

Example, Davin Hamilton (OSU) or Gallimore ( Oklahoma) .plus, rookies NT takes a while to adjust to NFL (men) players.

Unfortunately probably not We (if we do the right thing, build the O line and get the dynamic playmaker outside) Can delete Soldier and Tate and save at least 25 million... The offense and special teams then are probably good enough to have us around at least .500 even with a defense that's still a work in process but functionality and fundamentally improved. The team wound be in great position to sign a top FA on defense to plug a hole...that cancels out a 3rd round comp pick in 2022.. Better idea With this cap space keep Tomlinson and Williams...get the splash player.... Draft defense BPA next year... Brown only remotely works if we get a 2nd back for Tomlinson or use him in a trade up to try to get a salvage pick at OT in the first..

I gotta say the more film I watch the less i like Wirfs and Becton, but the more I like Thomas and now Wills So right now id rank them 1. Andrew Thomas 2. Jedrick Wills 3. Tristan Wirfs 4. Mekhi Becton My gut tells me it's going to be Wills or Wirfs Speculation around combine time if you recall we were in full bloom love with lineman that had rare athletic traits... We all assumed it was Wirfs but we also forgot Judge's ties to Saban.. I mean at this point we could basically tell the entire world who we want because nobody is going to jump us for a lineman because nobody is going to pay "premium trade up value for a qb " compensation for a tackle, especially with 4 really good ones Which is kind of silly to me, why take a player who is SEVERELY less polished because he did good at the underwear Olympics when you can take a very athletic player who has excellent technique. Thats why I lean towards Thomas/Wills > Becton/Wirfs Just because Becton and Wirfs killed it at the combine doesnt mean Wills and Thomas aren't outstanding athletes at OT, they just didnt put up AS good as numbers

It would be kind of wild if they were somehow able to get Thomas with a trade back pick either 19 or 20 in most scenarios. Imagine trading back and being able to snag one of Wills/Wirfs/Becton AND Thomas in round one lol.

No trades...trades are gonna be tough to do this year This should spell some relief for Daniel Jones, and nails two first round talents at WR in the 3rd and 4th round...Bowden of course can play anywhere from WR, RB, QB...haha...and special teams.
