Everyone has seen the replays of his 39 yard run on NBC but this fan cam shows a better viewpoint for those killer cuts. Jukes breaking 3, 4 ankles!

Really excited SB is a Giant. He will be "the Lawrence Taylor of running backs".

I thought you meant the viewpoint they showed on "Good Morning Football" where the camera is behind the D and the play is coming right at you. You can see clearly see the shifty moves, adjustment / change vof direction and speed more on that angle then the normal tv shot everyone is showing

The one from behind the play ( your 2nd video ) looks like taken by a fan in end zone seats is AWESOME!!!. THANKS for that!!!
I'll try and see if I can find the angle I'm talking about for you

The way he froze those two guys and then left them in the dust was incredible.
There was also a run where he bounced it outside and then Banks wanted to take the time to talk about learning the position as time goes by which I thought was ridiculous because there was nothing in the middle on that play and the only shot he probably had gaining yards was to take it outside.
Last run in he video. #54 clogged that hole in the middle. I don’t know what Banks expected Barkley to do there?

his play was one of the few true bright spots of the game.

Personally I've never been impressed with Banks as an analyst. Once Kendricks flashed in the hole, Barkley had no choice but to bounce it outside. The play could have easily gone for at least 20 yards if Sterling Shepard doesn't whiff on his block of Denzel Ward. Whiff is being kind...he didn't even attempt to block Ward, who ends up slowing down Barkley for a gain of 2 yds.

He was labeled a “generational” talent coming out of college. Off the field the kid is mature beyond his years, he has it all. If he doesn’t rush for over 1,300 yards this season I would be surprised.

Last yr, the entire Giants backfield had 2 runs of plus 30yds all season, both by Darkwa. SB does this on his 1st NFL carry. I can easily see this guy doing what Bo Jackson did when he was the only NFL player to run for 90+ yds 2x. Once the Giants really improve this OL in the next couple of yrs via the draft/FA, he has the potential to hit the 2000yd mark.

The whole point of taking him #2 was to make him the focal point of our offense. If he is just as good as Tiki, even, he should be more of a focal point than OBJ, in my opinion. OBJ is great, no doubt, but I've never been a fan of tieing up a lot of CAP at WR.

That the Giants & Eli are 44-10 when a RB hits the 100yd mark should not come as a shocker to anyone. All you " throwing the ball is what wins games now" bandwagoners who deride the run game seem to be the ones shocked at this stat. Those of us who saw football in the 70s-80s & 90s know that a dominant run game is always gonna be a QBs best friend, not a WR. A run game opens up the playbook due to the D not being able to play off the LOS, it brings in the LBers & safety closer to the LOS & opens up the seam routes & play action, a D will be less eager to bring a blitz when the run game is effective & it's always 2nd & 5 or less. even on 3rd & 3 or 2, the D cannot stack the box cuz Eli will be smart enough to audible to a quick pass play. Lack of a run game like we've experienced these past 5 yrs allows a D to just focus on taking away OBJ & the intermediate/deep plays & you end up resorting to the ever predictable quick slants due to the D playing the 2 high DB crap. That ends with SB in the backfield I can guarantee you that. There really is no reason this O cannot put up 27+ ppg this yr with the weapons it has at it's disposal this yr. The fact they finally will have an effective run game is the main reason for this. I bet the Giants win every game in which SB hits the 100+ mark or at least contributes 100+ in both rec/rushing.

You combine a good OLine with an explosive back like Barkley and you will see him put up big numbers

Definitely the Adrien Robinson of RB's. Thank God DG is gone! Lets hope we have a "REAL" team in place! He set us back with his picks 10 years!

I don't think he can cut like that anymore. 4 years is an eternity for a Running Back

I was all for the picking Saquon because I was in the group that thought Eli has one run left and that SB could be a very good piece to achive that.
Obviously I was totally wrong and then some. For those who didnt want that pick at #2 you were 100% correct.
With that said speaking in him just an NFL RB his injuries and this team are his biggest issues hands down. If SB was a better run team/org and didnt have serious injuries he'd be an All-Pro and one of the best in the NFL. Some top notch players get hosed by injury and the team that they are a part of. Thats life in the NFL.
Look at OBJ.....gets bounced from the NYGs for being a asshat multpile times, goes to the Browns and they ditch him. All of a sudden he is/was healthy for the Rams, catching TDs, being very productive and then tops it off with a Super Bowl TD catch and ring. In that same context he is now injured again.

He'll probably be the "somewhere between LT and JPP" of running backs. He Still needs about 1,000 yards to catch Ron Dayne's career rushing total. I think he can do it....

Haha, I thought this one might show up again. I have more cringey ones that could be dug up. Greedy Williams, Will Hernandez, Justin Gilbert, etc.

He had all the promise in the world but he is made of tissue paper. I don't think the guy can stay on the field. Unfortunate and definitely the wrong pick when you can't put together an average to below average line.

Imagine if the Rams had the " Threat" of Saquon on their squad. And imagine him splitting out with OBJ, Kupp, Woods, Jefferson!!! I actually had visions of him being used with Odell and company back then and then I believe Odell got hurt and then Saquon was hurt; then Odell was gone..........
