Let’s get JJ Watt and Aaron Rodgers while we’re at it. I'll settle for a Barkley/Darnold trade...they would - literally - just have to walk over to the other's locker room.

look I don't know if we are Playoff caliber this year but I know its too early to write us off. We went into the draft with a "win now" strategy. If we DON'T make the playoffs, then it was a TERRIBLE strategy. I look at it this way we go into this season if we do really good great we are all Happy! If we do poorly we trade Bickham mid to late season in next years draft we go after a top QB, does anyone know if next draft class of QB Is any good just in case we have a bad season which I really don't think we will I think we win 10 games and make the playoffs at worst may be 9 games and a wild card berth. but who knows I could be totally wrong. what are the chances of The Eagles doing great again I doubt the QB that won it all for them will be there QB this year. The Cowboys weren't even in the Playoffs not sure how anyone can say Cowboys are any kind of favorites to win anything and the Redskins IMHO made a big mistake letting Cousins go they are going to pay for that in the end, Alex Smith Is washed up.

May be the Eagles point I made is a bit of a stretch but Like I said who knows. I can easily see The Patriots being right back in the mix and winning it all. I mean you gotta figure Brady will lose it one of these years he is only getting Older but until he proves he cant do it anymore he will still keep playing at a high level.

Good on you...you corrected yourself before I could. The Eagles are going to be just fine with their young franchise quarterback who set the league on fire last year before his injury.

I don't follow college football that closely, but leading up to this past draft most analysts were thinking that next years QB class will be on the weak side.

At this point, which is more important... secondary or a pass rusher? Mack is a luxury Giants cannot afford.

I get that. do the math.
33% chance Packers 25% chance Raiders 15% chance Jets 15% chance Bills 15% chance Redskins 10% chance Steelers 10% chance Giants 25% chance any other team
That's almost 150%
Hmmm...It's almost like the bookies are building in profit right in the odds they set for themselves. That doesn't sound right - let me make a call; I'm thinking that they made some sort of math mistake. Nope...turns out, they did it on purpose. The reality is that the actual chances of the kid going to GB are probably far less than 1 in 10. But they, being capitalists, are willing to offer 3 to 1 odds for any possible chumps who would want to make a bet.
In other words, those posted odds have little or nothing to do with reality.

the team spent a fortune to sign Vernon to our defense and IMO he hasn't really been that great, he's a good player but not worth the money spent, so adding a player like Mack would be good for our defense but I doubt if he'd be the savior most would expect him to be...

As Mack is a DE, give them Mauro in exchange. Doubt it would happen.

There's no way the Giants can swing this. They would have to give up a 1st and probably a 3rd just to get the Raiders attention.(maybe even 2 1st rd picks) Then have to work out a long term deal before the trade was made. All while still having to give Odell and Collins extensions too. Would I love it if it happened. Absolutely! But its not gonna happen....

I have a feeling Darnold is a future Hall of fame QB In the making Baker Mayfield as well...

OV should give the Giants some good production this year. If he doesn't, he can be cut after the season with a dead cap hit of $8M. This is really a make or break season for Vernon. He never even cam close to living up to that contract. I don't see how the Giants could swing this deal, pay KM and OBJ. Anybody consider trading Vernon? Maybe throw in a WR like Shepard, or TE Engram, and get their TE. How about OBJ and Vernon for Mack and Amari Cooper?

Let's think positively...and Mack wants to be a NY GIANT and not a Packer. We give up a 1st round pick and maybe he and OBJ takes less. The team has already burned a 3rd round next year on the expansion draft. So next year is a second rounder. We gain a known talent. As Madden GM, I'd do it.
