Not good. The stage was to big for him at this point in his career. Made some terrible decisions and throws
But he shows flashes every game. Does things kids his age and experience dont do. Im very optimistic for him and the future of this team

Liked what I saw overall. The general mistakes are correctable.
We lined up with scrubs, and were down 7 at half. It wasn't nearly as bad as anyone was expecting.
The glass is half full.

Was not good today. He really needs to limit the turnovers. I will say almost every throw he had to make today was great coverage damn near, but you need to take care of the ball. Even a remote threat of a running game would be GREAT my God that was hard to watch

Still flashing, but he’s struggling a lot in the intermediate part of the field. 10 days to prepare for Arizona. I view this very much as a stepping stone for him. He just got schooled by 2 good Ds. Hopefully he now regroup and can put tigeyfet another segment of good football. Hes gonna be a rookie all year, but there are stages within seasons. For him this is a change to jump up and take some knowledge off what he’s experienced thus far. Eliminate some of the mistakes he’s made.

Missing most of his premier weapons on offense, facing a top defense on a short week. I liked his usual athleticism and accuracy (which Aikman even commented on) but he throws the ball into traffic a lot causing turnovers. Receivers didn't get a lot of separation and dropped passes. Tate only had one step on the corner on the TD bomb, it was perfectly thrown.
Will give him a pass this week based on the situation. Hard not to see the potential.

Another tough lesson, this time against Sith hoodie Palpatine
The 2 things positive I took away Make it 3 1.zero fear of throwing into insanely tight windows, hell Dak still is afraid to do this... 2.his accuracy is incredible. Many of his incompletions were Patriot dbs making great plays(I'm not bitching about no calls because they let both sides actually play pass defense tonight,I don't think there was one interference call all night),that last one Gilmore madd on Slayton was incredible. All his shorter throws in stride, hell,Slayton almost took a slant to the house if he doesnt stumble. This is an elite skillset he has that when everything comes together he will be a top elite level qb in this league 3.One QB had issues with the wind, except for one pass early it was not Jones.. So about that arm strength.
Now of course he had issues. Bad decisions Also noticed he actually ran into pressure needlessly a few times(the 2nd int he did this) Wondering if he was misreading the pressure and protection or just seeing no early separation from his recievers and started to run around All things he will clean up

That was a rookie performance against a terrific, well coached D.
Oh well.
But even as we watched, it was hard not to think that he will be a good one someday.

That was some of the tightest man to man coverage I've ever seen. The Pats will win the chip back to back smh.

Horrible conditions for passing last night, was very windy up here all night. Played the #1 with the best D coach ever perhaps. Had none of his weapons.
With all that said he made some absolutely terrific throws. I mean just perfectly placed balls. Some other throws were a bit poor I think due to wind mostly. He for sure got confused on a few reads, that INT towards Ellison a good example.
Overall he threw a TD pass against the Pats D and no one else has done that this year.

although he threw 3 picks, never a good thing, he also threw a number of really impressive balls, and kept his head in the game until the end. All that missing his 3 top offensive weapons, and the top backup to one of them. I really think that Gallman would have made a big difference in this game compared to running out Hillman play after play, and if Barkley, Shep, and Engram were in the game, who knows how it would have gone.

This game was really disheartening. Not because the Giants lost, I expected that, because Jones looked like a pile of trash. I know, I know wind and what not but that Int on the pass to Ellison was not wind related, it was a stupid decision. He just doesn't look that accurate at all since the first game. Bringing all the Giants weapons back isn't going to improve his accuracy, right?
I couldn't even type this last night since I was so annoyed....
Also, can we get a ban on that POS troll that everyone knows is a troll?

Last night, Daniel Jones looked awful; has looked like a rookie since 2nd start on. That’s because he is a rookie.

As always - context is key. Rookie in his 4th game. On the road, Thursday night, in New England, against the best defense in the NFL that hadn't allowed a passing score all year, missing your starting RB, TE and WR.
He wasn't good last night, but that's to be expected. What he is, is consistent in his game. He is taking the deep shots that Manning was not. We need those. The throw to Tate for the TD was good and honestly the throw to Slayton on 4th down at the end of the game was good. He's picking up chunk yards with his legs. His mobility and ability to avoid pressure in the pocket looked good.
The issues come from decision making, and again - rookie. Bad reads (the 3rd pick to Ellison on the corner), staring down WRs (that should-be pick on the slant to Latimer where Gilmore jumped). The throw to Tate early in effectively double coverage with the way the LB was positioned - and the throw was behind him- being tipped. Those things have to be cleaned up and they can't be done against a team as defensively stout as New England.
Again, he's a rookie. He's going to make shit throws and shit decisions. But he had some really accurate throws underneath and down the field, he was moving well and his arm isn't a problem. He should be fine.
That doesn't mean he didn't stink last night, because for the most part he did.
But - this is why he's starting and not getting pulled, because experience like this is invaluable.

He is a rookie QB taking his lumps. Games like this were inevitable, especially against BB. As fans, we need to be patient while this kid develops. He didn't have a good game by any means, but all 3 of his top position players on offense were out while going against one of the best defenses in the league.

One plus I did see from Jones was his ball sliced through the wind. He still threw some darts. Completely different from what we normally see with Eli and his floppy balls that flutter.
Outside of that and the one pass to Tate for the TD, he was pretty bad. Wrong decisions, bad throws, still holds the ball way too long. Looks like a rookie..... looks like Eli so inconsistent.

He's showing less and less flashes of brlliance week after week replaced by more bad mistakes. I know your WRs are crap and NE has the best defense (man they looked good) but don't try to force everything.

DJ was not as bad as you make it seem. ....at least thats what I saw last night. Also his receivers have to have clock in their head too!!. They need to migrate back to the QB if the ball is not out in 3 seconds. His eyes are always down field which is a great thing overall. He is learning and has a long way to go but I dont think he was horrible last not

I 100% agree he was trying to force things...from my seat, am not sure he had a lot of options except to force things. Literally no one truly open and no running game. EDIT: and of course, I am just assuming we all agree he made some bad decisions.

Not to mention this is 4 games out of 4 he has had multiple turnovers. You cant use the rookie card on that.
