This is huge.
Also, David Irving won't play the 1st matchup.
I consider Frederick the best Center of all time. At least in the modern era.
Could be the difference of 2 Wins.
Could take Dallas out of the playoff picture.
Dak cannot function with just 2 Hall of Famers on his O-Line, he must have 3 Hall of Famers on his O-Line to function

Injuries are part of the sport. Things happen. One things for sure, the Cgirls did not lighten up against us when we led the league in injuries so many years or when we had devastating injuries like last year wrs.

I don't want to win because they have a player with a chronic condition . Really can't get excited when a rival goes down to injury or too illness his battles with snacks are epic, might sound weird but hopefully he can overcome this and get healthy, now on the Irving front I don't feel sorry for them or him quit cheating or smoking whatever.

Trying to work up some sympathy for the Cowboys. Maybe a little compassion... Nothing yet... Uh, not there... Nope.

I think we'll match up well with the Cowboys. Their thing is to pound with the run, force you to load the box, then mix in some passes. Our thing is to pound back against their run, making it tough and limiting their effectiveness. (We're really strong here). Then they can't get to their passing game much either. If our defensive backfield is a little shaky, the Cowboys' modus operandi keeps them from taking advantage. Witten and Dez being gone only increases our advantage. The Cowboys did draft a big bodied receiver this year though (I forget his name), who's a decent prospect.
Go Giants!

Did Dallas or their fans feel sorry for us that OBJ missed both games last yr due to injuries? Hell no! To even have a shot at winning this division we have to finish no worse than 4-2, we beat Dallas in weak 2 due to their missing players, that bolds well for us in the rematch in week 17 at our house in freezing cold weather. Sweep Dallas & the Skins & split with Eagles would be even better. Dallas will try beat us with the power run game so we have to stack the box & keep containment of Dak & dare him to beat us with his arm, I don't think he can. If the Giants can keep the Ewok under 90 yds, we win the game.

Can’t imagine anybody rooting for a young guy to get a serious disease.
Embarrassing.

Think that Dolphins HOF center Dwight Stephenson from the 80s might have something to say bout that as well. Whomever made that comment musta been born in the 90s.

Double 0 Jim Otto of the Raiders is up there as well. I also throw a vote at Webster too.

The man has a life threatening disease and you're looking at it as a positive for the Giants? What is wrong with you? Sorry for the language. he didn’t wish him ill or anything dude relax. This is a huge blow to their line and the Giants have been bringing some pressure up the middle so that will certainly come into play week two. It does lower their playoff chances and those huge holes for EE won’t happen as often.

Martin also nursing a knee injury and their rookie guard has been getting pushed around a bit L'ael Collins has bum ankle and Tyron Smith still has been missing practices with his chronic bad back. It's looking a mess right now, but we'll see. I'll root against the Cowboys all day, but I'm not cheering for illness or injury.

I never wish any injury / medical issue on any player. I prefer the Giants beat a team straight up so there aren’t any excuses.
Also, there are varying degrees of recovery for this condition and might not even miss the entire season. Hopefully he fully recovers this year.

The Cowboys have a good O line in part because they are very well coached. I suspect the drop off won't be much.

I don’t think that the OP was gloating about an injury at all. Just stating the fact that it will have an effect on the game. That 's just it, it's not an "INJURY". It shouldn't be compared to one. Seriously? Ok, my bad, it’s a medical condition, not an injury. Whatever it is will have an effect on the game and on the Cowboys season - that is just a fact. Are we not allowed to discuss those effects?

It's a shame that an illness effects anyone from their dream. You don't have to be happy that someone is suffering, but as it effects an opponent to become weaker you can smile about that. That's 2 top starters missing from our first meeting with Dallas now, isn't the DE suspended as well as their Center now out ?
Losing Frederick should weaken the effectiveness of Elliot. Which is good for us cause that would effect Prescott as well. Don't think too many NFC East teams are sad Dallas got weaker.
Of course everyone should feel sorry for Frederick odds are he'll be back next year. On TV they said lots of people recover from this in about 6 months to a year.

Are we not allowed to discuss those effects? Yeah, seriously. The OP came off as being excited and almost happy,if I am wrong I apologize but it sure came across that way. Fact injuries are a part of the game and we all know that ,something of the nature this guy has is in a complete different class . I have always been proud to be a Giant Fan and one reason is they for the most part are respectful and usually handle themselves with class. I agree . But I do agree it will change the way Dallas has to play the game. I think irony has a sense of humor. It will laugh at you at the most inopportune times.
