What's with the over reactions? Throwing too high on one pass that was caught over the middle?
Darnold looks good but that's neither here nor there concerning our team.
Eli actually looked better than Darnold. If we had a receiver to throw to besides Shep we would be golden lol

Omameh is horrid. He couldn't block a fart in Church.

Without Barkley and most importantly Odell, the offense was pretty good between the 20s.
If we can get a push up front ... man, watch out.

Omameh is horrid. He couldn't block a fart in Church. Not getting any push on running plays at all. We seem to be running away from the right side every play. Eli even rolling left which is kind of scary.

He can't stop a sneeze with a tissue.

I have to admit. Im a little worried. Not sure what the cause may be. I see Halapio not making an impact but Omameh looked like a fool on one play. I wonder if one of those 2 will not be starting the first week of the season.

Eli wasn't sacked at all tonight. He had a clean pocket for most of the first half. The pass protection was solid. It's going to take time for the run game to settle down. The Jets have a very good front. Overall, I didn't see anything to panic about.

Yea do people realize Odell and Saquon did not play yet Eli still played good and if this was a regular season game I have a feeling we would still have won. Paul Dottino on the post game show said Eli did good tonight despite the bad running game. I thought Wayne Gallman Jr. did good so on that I disagree with Dottino but I agree with him on Eli playing good!

Currently its Malfunctioning I hear the Giants post game and The Yankees post game simultaneously at the same time but not on commercials may be If I refresh it will fix it?

think the first drive of second half when the Jets still had their starting D in the the giants ran a little better going behind jones and who ever came in at right guard think Jones is a better center then Halapio.

One more game before they really matter and I want to see Brett Jones in there at C with the 1st string O-line at least once this preseason. Shurmur mentioned something just last week about the starting O-line lineup not be settled yet, so the onus is on him even more so to move some pieces around and find the best combination before the games really count.
If he's so in love with Halapio, try him at RG over Omameh. Try Jerry over Omameh too. The experimenting should've been tried in game already.
We did the whole "start em because the GM signed em or drafted em high regardless if someone else plays better" thing for years, and it cost us last year, and brass didn't figure out how idiotic that was until it was way to late. Please tell me that won't be the case this season. P.S. - that sort of thing can come from ownership, who understandably want to see returns on their bigger investments, but good business men know when to hold em and when to fold em, and I'd run fast in the opposite direction from J Stewart at this point (probably faster than he could. Ouch!).

I thought Eli played quite well, look sharp to me. Pass protection from the 1s was pretty good. Eli had time and a relatively clean pocket. the run blocking on the other hand was simply attrocious. The 2s were a bit better with some push, but their pass protection had a lot to be desired. Can we make frankenlinemen from our 1s and 2s (its alive!!!)?

Giants had their full second string OL in on that series. I know they had the whole second team in top to bottom Shurmer wasn't kidding when he said he wants every player on the roster to have a chance to show them and the other 31 teams what they got, back on subject tho I think it was Grecco playing on Jones right.
