Would the Colts sign him? Would Eli even want to play for another team? The Colts desperately need a QB after Luck retired. Eli going to his brother's former team would be awesome. But I would absolutely HATE to see him in another uniform, but it's up to him.

Why would they? Why would he want to?

My gut tells me he's going to retire.

Let It Be.
Edit: meaning: NO. Retire please. Thanks Eli.

Makes no sense. The only team that might potentially hire any franchise QB over 35 is a team that is completely built for a deep playoff run and desperately needs a QB. I can think of no teams that fit that.

Immobile, pushing 40, consecutive losing seasons, benched 2 of last 3 seasons, won't play backup role....I mean really Eli and the fans that are delusional really need to stop this.

But the Colts, IF they think they can win but for their QB situation, would be the only possible landing spot in my view.
Still less than a 1% chance though as far as I can tell.

So here's the scenario. Eli signs with no one, makes no effort...in fact , announces he's retiring. IF a team who a) is competitive, b) loses it's QB preseason, and c) has a weak back-up, Eli will probably be the first to get a call. If all of those unlikely things happen, it's possible that he could play again. Other than that....

How do you like that? I guess Harooni might end up being right after all.

Interesting, I thought the Bucs might be interested with winstons ball security issues they could have been a 10 team win team with QB who can get a team in the right plays and make the throws and not turn it over 30 times.

Well if it's the only offer he gets ? And they might have an old Manning jersey already made up if he decides to go if offered.
