Good. I would like them to a hc on leave by the end of next week. Needs to start building a competent staff before the talent dries up. Some good candidates should be available as position coaches.

Don’t let him out of the building! I think Rhule might very well end up as our HC. Not sure how I feel about it but he's an impressive coach.
I said a few days ago that it will either be Rhule, McCarthy or Beineimy.
At this point Rhule is the hot commodity. McCarthy is the "safe" pick. But Beineimy is the most intriguing.
I'm wondering if John Mara will step outside himself and go with Beineimy. It would show a lot of courage, which up to this point he's certainly not shown.
But I have a feeling.........

I could see Rhule’s buyout and his ability to assemble a staff as being potential issues. Beineimy is definitely intriguing but being a CEO is a huge leap from being a RB coach and an OC that doesn’t call plays.

My opinion of John Mara isn't quite as low as yours...but it's still pretty low. It's questionable that he has the guts to hire Beineimy. I would say of the three, Rhule has about a 50/50 chance to be our HC. McCarthy and Beineimy at about 23% each and another guy at about 4%.
I would probably be the most excited with Beineimy. But I'd be happy with any of the three.

I don’t want to settle for a HC. I don’t want McCarthy. Bienememy , I pretty sure calls the offensive plays. Not to say Reid hasn’t any input before or during game.

The thing is as fans, we really don’t know enough to really make a good assessment of these guys. My hope is that the FO goes into the interviews with no pre-conceived notions and hires the guy that bowls them over.

Remember part of Shurmur's problem was gving up play calling . I also don't know why no one talks about Patrick Mahomes development under Bienemy. He was a raw coming out of college but his first season in the NFL he threw for 50 TDs with a 66% completion rate!!! KC with Bienemy as offensive Coordinator has averaged 51 TDs a season the last 2 seasons. They are a very young team operating at a high level on offense. It is pretty remarkable what he was a part of . It might be coincidence that Patrick Mahames starting and Eric Bienemy getting promoted produced the best offense Andy Reid ever had and that is considering he had Jamaal Charles , McNabb, Vick, Maclin, Westbrook, Desean , Terrel and other very good coordinators on those teams. He might be a sleeper because Andy Reid overshadows him.

I think Mara will hire Rhule for various reasons.
...but I'm not sure how it will play out with Gettleman if Rhule wants to bring in his own staff.

Rhule and Beineimy are both out of the box for this organization Either of those 2 or the Martindale/Brady duo I'd be more than happy for

When Reid was asked about the play calling he said he never called a play before becoming a HC, and that Beineimy called them in preseason. Reid is really talking this guy up, saying he will be a "championship caliber HC for some team." Pretty strong endorsement for what it's worth. One thing is for sure - he is a very strong personality from all accounts.

Who knows

If the Giants could get Bienemy and Martindale to coach and coordinate this team that could be really good but I don't think they will work that hard to get good coaching skills here. Besides, one is going to have to consider a lateral move instead of a promotion and I doubt either will prefer that.
