I've been trying to get into reading a little more. I recently finished 'The Mannings' which gives some great insight on Archie's life as he grew up and met Olivia. The next one I'm starting up is 'Parcells: A Football Life'. Pretty excited to get that one going.

Anything football related! Does not have to be Giants.

You've probably seen it but the movie but the movie (not the TV series) "Friday Night Lights" is good and truth based. ESPN ...*cough* ... did a 30 for 30 on the Dallas Carter team painted as the villain in the movie.

Odessa Permian has a long and storied history with Texas High School Football which is arguably the best HS football in the US. OP's football heritage is the storyline. Billy Bob Thornton and Lucas Black are both really good in their portrayals.

The GM by Tom Callahan (about Ernie Accorsi) was good. I also liked Rough and Tumble by Bavaro. Both were good reads although quite different as Bavaro’s book is a. novel.
