I was just about to post in FA section....
Jets GM is doing a great job. They better have gotten a high pick for the guy. Teddy B was wise to sign a 1 year show me contract. He gets to heal further behind Brees, and he already raised his market value by completing over 70% of his passes in pre-season.
very savvy move by the Jets....Along with drafting Darnold, them and the Browns are finally in good hands.

I see it differently. The foolish contract of Josh McCown has caused the Jets to make a poor football decision. That deal forced the Jets to trade their best QB. They should have bitten the bullet and cut McCown and started Bridgewater with Darnold sitting for a year.
At least that's my view.

Jets will go 4-12, 5-11 this yr & get 4th or 5th pick next yr. Think they messed up in trading Teddy, with him starting , they had a chance at being a 500 club. This will probably fire up Brees to have a monster yr.

When you have a good team it's important to have a good back up QB. But it seems an odd play by them.
Do they think he can be the heir apparent? Hard to tell.

They have an old QB. Maybe they think Bridgewater can be the guy.

They have an old QB. Maybe they think Bridgewater can be the guy. Maybe this will be Brees' last season. He'll break the passing records this year and his contract is essentially a one year deal with a team option for 2019.
Maybe the team and Brees have talked about that.

Could be. Bridgewater is a nice QB, I wish the Giants had made that deal.

Both him & AP would have been nice to have for good depth at those positions. I believe the Giants could have gotten AP for way less than what they paid for Stewart.

Bridgewater looked good in preseason, but I doubt any Jet's fans even noticed. They want Darnold, and would have given Bridgewater no room for error in even one game.

Jets get a 3rd rounder but lose Bridgewater and 6th rounder.
NO thinks they have a championship team and they probably think they still would if Brees gets injured.
I was never really high on Bridgewater but then again he is still a young QB.

I find this surprising since it's usually the fans that have the more thoughtful measured approach coupled with a much better handle on the roster and what's best for the team.

Well, as far as the Tri-state area, that only applies to us Giants fans.
